Q&A: Need a job but no one will help any suggestions?
Ok i have been looking for work for a year since graduating college.Ive signed up with the only two temp agencies in town they wont call me back, i look online for job listings, and email and fax my resume. I can only look for jobs online because my car went dead like it cant be repaired dead and my mother wont let me use hers not complaining just stating the facts.
We live in a rural area where there is no public transportation. Taxis dont come to my town bc its “too far away”.It takes 45 mins driving to get to the nearest city and you can only get to it by interstate so walking and riding a bike is highly ilegal(i was told this by the town police chief the other day). My friends are all two hours away and they live in a bigger city where they ride the bus or their parents let them use their cars. They all live wth their parents too so i cant go stay with them. I have no family i can stay with to get a job bc everyone in our family hates each other.
So any suggestions? No i am not whinning i want a job i need help on how to get out of this situation. Everyone has had to get help from someone at some point no one does everything alone. Usually ppl get out of college and their parents do everything they can to help them find work. Mine parent have not and will not so i need suggestions on what to do.
You did not state what degree you received.
It sounds like you need a job in a big city, where you can move to and not need to obtain a car.
Look up companies that do whatever your chosen profession is and start sending resumes to their HR departments. Do not worry if they have a job opening or not, as most places only actively seek employees when they have none available. You could very well be sending your resume in at just the right time. It is a numbers game, even if only 1 in 10 call you that is better then what you are doing now.
Try for your profession now, not a temp agency job. You may end up getting sort of stuck in a rutt and NEVER work in your profession if you stray right away like this. I am fairly advnaced in years, and have seen sooo many people do that, and it is really sad. You got your degree because you had a passion for it, you need to continue with that passion at this point as well.

I opened a citibank account online..I need to submit my new account info by friday to get paid next week. I live in NJ, i went to a branch in NYC to get the desposit papers… They gave me the address
of 400 Madison Avenue (the branch i went to) and gave me a routing number, This is the routing number for New York.. this is not where i live yet (i live in NJ) will this routing number work considering i opened the accout online. I want to know before i fax the papers in.
I dont know how “what would you like to ask got there…”lol
YES …. it’s just where the big bank in the sky wants to send it it has nothing to do with where you live.
that is the Routing number for the Bank. Where you live is irrelevant.
The routing number is specific to the bank rather than the location. It will work fine.

My Question: Where can I get a faxless payday loan?
I need to get a loan online, I don’t have a fax machine, though. My cat is very sick and needs to see a vet ASAP. He cannot wait until I get my next paycheck and I know all fees and everything added on with payday loans. I’m willing to deal with the hassle. It’s scam.They compose a text and send it to people under different titles.Yahoo,gmail,…
I received this same email about a month ago. I didn’t follow up on any of it because this kind of crap filters through regardless of spam blockers.
Yahoo has been made aware and this is a totally bogus email.
Trash it as you would any other junk that comes through your mailbox.
I have also been receiving many emails from Nigeria. Do people truly fall for this crap? Do people really send complete strangers their personal information and send them thousands of dollars because they feel sorry for them?
This is the longest running scam on the internet today. Yahoo does not have lotteries. Yahoo does not give away money. You don’t win anything but the booby prize for opening spam, so now you will get more. Does this actually have your name on it, or is your name “Esteemed Winner?” Put this, and all the others to come, in spam and don’t open any more.

My Question: Do-it-yourself website design advice?
I have no experience with website design, but I am fairly intelligent and not too scared of the computer; so I think I can build one myself if I find the right user-friendly interface. Can you recommend a reputable website where I can easily incorporate the following?
1. Domain name registration and multiple e-mail addresses
2. Basic website with links to various pages of information
3. The ability to create a form/registration that can be either completed and submitted online, or printed, completed, and submitted via fax or U.S. Mail
4. The ability to make purchases online using Paypal.
5. Very low monthly fees. This business involves offering classes to home school students, and part of the mission is keeping prices low. Although I do plan to make a profit, it won’t be enormous; so $ 40/month is not a good price for me. It seems that with most services, once you add forms to complete online and online payments, the prices go way up. Anyone know of a good alternative?

Well most web hosting plans now a days are under , allow unlimited domains and email address, have free templates or easy UI design builders, and basically anything else you need. Creating a good paypal shopping cart is a little tricky, but they have plenty of documentation about the API.
I recommend getting a good book on basic html, javascript, and php. Then go from there.
In my experience good websites are not cheap and cheap websites are not profitable. There is a reason why most web developers make upwards of /hr.
If you want to pay someone to design the site (a one-time fee), it’ll probably eat your first year’s profit, and then some (if you can’t see making /month). Learn HTML, Javascript, CSS and a server-side language (I’d suggest PHP), and design your own site. (There’s plenty of free code out there – including forms and shopping carts, but you have to understand how to modify them to your specific need, which means being able to read, and probably write a little, code.)
A site shouldn’t run you more than /month, a domain name no more than /year but if you have the web hosting company design the site, you can add another -a few hundred (depending on complexity) per month.

Make sure they have no forced ads and allow you to have ads.
I started with Godaddy, but after your site shows some success, move, many places that are reasonable, but you may want to try Bravenet (check all potential sites for references and what help they give) (when starting out, you need lots of help) also if the help is free or costs and what is the turn around time (time you ask for help and when it is provided). Also check the quality of help, fast help that does not answer the question is no help.
Best way to check is check the internet for reviews.
Note: Bravenet has a lot of free tools and help. Your choice, choose wisely, it is a very important item, your business is at stake.

Q&A: Can I get a temporary drivers’ license faxed to me?
My original drivers’ license is from Ohio. I am currently in Texas. My Ohio license expired on 4/2/11, my 21st birthday. I would have renewed it before I came to Texas, but I did not expect to be here this long. Here is my problem: Last week, I was offered a temporary job in Texas which requires a valid and current Texas DL and I need this by Friday or I won’t get the job. So I went to the the Texas DMV today, and they told me that since my Ohio DL is expired, I will have to complete Texas Drivers Education for people 18-24 before I can obtain a Texas DL. Obviously, I don’t have time to do this before Friday. So if I was able to renew my Ohio DL I wouldn’t have to take drivers ed here in Texas. I could just go get the Texas license with no problems. Ohio doesn’t do online renewal, only mail. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Ohio BMV could do this by fax instead to expedite the process? Please help. I really need this job! I’ve searched all over the place and can’t find any answers.
Thanks I guess. But that is why I need this job…so I can have the money to get back to my home state. If I had the 500 bucks to get back up there, I wouldnt even be trying to get this job.
DMV is like Government services.
They don’t give a rat sh_t about your story. They are not about to extend themselves out to assist you because it is “your problem” and “you are nobody special.”.
‘They do things their way at their speed. You are just a number.
It is up to you to get all your ducks in a row. They are secure in their job.
Hope that clears it up for you in a way you understand. It is your expense to figure out the quickest way to do this process.. Maybe fly back and return. You got to figure it out.
you could have found all this information out long ago, you were the one who procrastinated, now its going to be you taking care of business the hard way, if you let this job go its on you, if you do not want to drive to ohio dont. go through the motions in texas and get it over with , then go look for the job. no one can fax a drivers license, you have to go yourself.

There are plenty of real payday loans online, but you would be a fool to use one. You would be giving them a pipeline to your bank account to take money out of it every payday. Not smart.
If you are that hard up for a payday loan, go to a lender who actually has a store and you can talk to a human. Sounds like you want to avoid that though, if you don’t even want to fax paycheck stubs etc.

sounds like a scam im pretty shure it is.. any advice on what i should do?
First of all, this is clearly a scam. You shouldn’t even had replied in the first place, as they now know probably have stored information about your email address. Don’t reply to any more emails, and probably notify send Toyota an e-mail explaining to them that someone are misusing their company name for fraud.
Secondly: Do you even own a Toyota? Have you participated in any contests? Do you really think anyone would just take 2,500,000 random email addresses and give money and cars to some of them?
Rule no. 1 of the internet: Use Common Sense!
Also, if you are in doubt, contact your nearest Toyota dealer and simply ask them.

They said dear sir/madam. If it was meant for you, they would’ve used your real name. If you don’t remember entering a toyota lottery, then you couldn’t have actually won one. After you replied, they said “Dear Winner” again, and not used your real name. If you won a lottery they’d probably have more than half that information they’re asking for already.
It is a scam. one of the easiest way to check is to look up the name of the organization. If they where legit they would have a site. Also they would not appear on plenty of scam sites as scam emails.
You may visit sites across the web but how many do you sign up to and leave your email address with.
If you did not enter it then there is no way you could win it.
One final check is to open the headers on the email which show the return email along with the ip address which is another way to check where the email originated from. They rarely match the country the supposed draw is taken place.
Also if you enter the phone numbers given they will show where they come form. The check them against the real number.. From the OFFICIAL site.
The numbers given are in china. But Toyota is a Japanese company.
All signs are pointing to scam..
Plus loads of scam email sites are reporting it as a scam
What you should do is leave it..
What i do when I get these types of emails is send an email back with all the links to the scam email sites with copies of their email.
If they where genuine they would get back but they never do…
