Question: where do i find “new fax” in windows?
Look in the program that came with your printer. Windows itself doesn’t have a “fax” program.

Posted by in Fax Software on April 29, 2012
Question: How can I send a fax over the internet?
My fax machine is broken. I scanned my papers and have them online in individual documents. I have the fax number they need to go to. Is there a way to send the documents as a fax to the number? Thanks for any help!
faxzero is maximum 1 free document/day and they place their advertisement on the cover. The other one is you have to sign up for a service. Any other suggestions?
Try a site like efax.com
Simply upload the documents and provide the fax number, and they’ll take care of the rest.
30 day free trial too.
Try a FREE fax site like http://faxzero.com/

Posted by in Fax Software on April 25, 2012

Q&A: How can I open a corrupted file?
Eg. everytime I try to open a file it says no preview found in Microsoft picture manager and window picture and fax viewer?
I can see the size of the picture when right click and go to properties. eg. 770kb
Please urgently advise. Your help is greatly appriciated.
you cant its corrupt you would have to get another copy from somewhere sorry =(
If a file is corrupt, there’s nothing more you can do (as far as I know).
Im sorry but you cant.
A corrupted file means that it has been destroyed sorry
You can’t.
If it’s corrupted it’s ruined for good.
Right click.
Open With
Choose Notepad.
Ok, now look in there, that’s the data that makes up your picture. If you delete anything, even one of those little symbols, the picture is corrupted.
In your case, that’s exact;y what’s happening. Try to reacquire, or have someone re-send you the picture.
Q&A: how can i use my fax without unplugging the modem/router?
Posted by in Fax Software on April 24, 2012
Question: how can i use my fax without unplugging the modem/router?
I have a all-in-one printer/fax/scanner. I have one phone cable nearby that is plugged into my modem/router. Problem is I keep having to disconnect the modem and plug it into the fax to send a fax. Can I simply use a ‘y’ piece to have two cables from one? One for modem and one for fax ?
Just go to a store like Radio Shack, just tell them what you what to do!
You’ll need a splitter AND a DSL filter on the fax machine side of the line.
Why go to all this trouble when you can use your email to send and receive faxes? Less hassle and you can be more productive without the constant plugging and unplugging of modems.
You can find all you want to in this guide I put together

Do you know where there is a picture on your computer? Locate that icon, right click on it, and choose “Open with”. Choose the pic and fax viewer.
A bunch of pics in a file and you want to see them all? Highlight them all at once, then right click and do the same as above.

FAQ: Whats your opinion on a 1997 Ford Mustang?
Posted by in Fax Software on April 21, 2012
Question: Whats your opinion on a 1997 Ford Mustang?
I Checked the POV lot on the local military base i live near and it had a 1997 Ford Mustang in excellent condition (had a car fax in the window) for $ 3,500. Since this is my first car, I don’t really want a car that will breakdown and require a major repair during my years in college. Basically i want to know if this is a good deal for the money.
The car fax is a good start as it tells you whether it has been wrecked, but it doesn’t speak to maintenance the car has received. If the seller has maintenance history (oil/filter changes, lube jobs, filters, etc.) you’d have an even better idea of what the condition is. For additional “insurance” I’d recommend you check with a certified Ford mechanic and see what he’d charge to check it out for you. That would probably include a compression check, but for a nominal fee you could save yourself lots of potential problems. Good luck!
No…Mustangs are over rated and nothing special.
You should get something rare like a toyota MR2.
Those things were built to compete with supercars.
If you get a mustang atleast get a GT those are good.
sn95 and new edge years the gt was weak as the v6.
why would you mention a toyota 4 banger “that can run” with the supercars? to much tv my lil man.
I drive one
The Carfax is definitely an excellent resource however it only includes *reported* accidents and work. 00 is a good deal on that car but you should be able to have a mechanic look at it and give you a better idea of what condition the car is in. Mustangs are great cars and easy to maintain but as with any vehicle – it’s vital that you keep up with the routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, etc).

Dear Ron,
Thanks for your reply.
–>Right click on a TIFF file. Make sure the box that states to always use this program is checked. Then browse to the “Windows Picture and Fax Viewer” program and select it. OK out.
I can do it this way, but i want to do it through the registry file (.reg) because, i need to do this setup for 50 to 60 users. so that If i have a reg file i can send to them to merge the registry by just double clicking the script.
Again Thanks.

Q&A: Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Question?
Posted by in Fax Software on April 16, 2012

My Question: Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Question?
I don’t get this at all. I sent myself, in an E-mail, a picture I had of mine on my computer. Ok, so it comes in my inbox and I download the attachment. It opens in “Windows Picture and Fax Viewer”.
So, I have my photo. Then I start clicking the little arrows, left and right, and I see hundreds of other photos, logos, pics, and still pics of videos that were accessed on my computer since whose knows when!
Some images I had NEVER accessed and have NEVER seen before!
So, I deleted some and sent to recycle bin and emptied it.
Yet, I try the process all over again and now I have some of the SAME pics and images…and again..new ones I have never seen? WTF???
Is there any way to permanently delete this stuff and stop it from shwoing up whenever I send a pic to someone??? WHERE is it coming from? How come it appears, even along wioh NEW stuff after I delete it?
Sounds like you might be looking at the cache on your computer of all the pics you have viewed online.
The next time you clear your cache make sure to check the box [ ] Delete Offline Content
