    Installed this in a kitchen remodel. This looks terrific and gives the kitchen a very modern look. This has been popular in many kitchen remodels as seen on TV. Extraction is good, LED display is effective, has the WOW factor and should be considered above the non-LED displays for overall kitchen appearance. I’ve only been using this since Aug 09. So far so good!

    I was very impressed with the quality of this product. It was very well packaged (like an Apple). The instructions were straight forward (assuming that one has a good grasp on basic construction and electrical principles). I had an unusually confined space to install this fan so the installation was “tricky.” Please be careful of the hood fascia stainless-steel pieces – they have very sharp edges – wear gloves. BTW – the stainless-steel is the real thing – I needed to modify the fascia for my particular application – this required drilling holes in the stainless — six drill-bits later, I barely dented my intended hole locations! I did most of the install by myself, but I needed another adult when installing the shroud and hood – it’s somewhat heavy and awkward.

    I have not really had the chance to use it much, but on the few occasions that I have, it is very quiet and can really move some air. In preparing a pot of spaghetti noodles, the second highest fan setting more than adequately exhausted all the steam. The display and it’s associated buttons are pretty straight forward – as is always the case – one has to spend some time adjusting and remembering what does what.

    The only improvement that I would recommend is the light operation. The two halogen lights dim – but to do so, one must hold the light power button for a while – then they dim all the way down and then back up – one stops at the setting of their preference. It would be nice if one could reference the brightness on the display – like with the fan setting (1 – 6). It would also be nice if the + and – button worked for this operation.

    All in all – I would buy from this company again! High quality and very nice finish.
