revolution |ˌrevəˈloō sh ən| – a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.
For the sake of argument, lets say you woke up today to find that the constitution has been suspended indefinitely. Those that have do so explain to the people that America must take 2 steps back in order to take 10 steps forward as the rationale for their actions. The philosophy being that ‘you can’t fix a car while its running’.
Put yourself on both ends of the spectrum. If you as the President, absolutely had to suspend freedoms in order to save us from ourselves, why would you do it and what are your motives? Even if you mean no harm, and intentions are genuinely honorable.
As the citizen who has awoken to this news on CNN, what would you do? Would this pull Americans from their couches into the streets? Are 21st century American capable of true revolution (not faxes, or disgruntled emails) or would we cooperate if let to understand its truly for the better good.

You are describing martial law (and it is legal to declare that by law in fact under certain circumstances)
As for the anatomy of a modurne revolution.. its the same as the old ones.. guns and bombs.. nothing has changed except the technology & weapons (2000 years ago it would just be spears & rocks) Would everyone get up off thier couch & do something? Hardly… But that hasent changed either, Revolutions arent really fought by the vast majority … Its the minor numbers that fight revolutions.. most people dont really care unless they are dragged in to it in someway or another.
No sucessful revolution takes place by voting, Faxes or letters.. Its always bullets or spears LOL

We have a history of suspending personal freedoms. During World War II, thousand of Americans of Asian decent were removed from their homes, had their property seized by the government, and were placed in internment camps. During the same time citizens of German heritage were routinely questioned by authorities.
In both cases the American public did nothing. If that would happen today, the majority of Americans would rationalize the gravity of the situation and do nothing.

It depends how far and fast it goes. The government is wittling away at our natural (or God-given if you prefer) rights as outlined in the Bill of Rights administration after administration. By taking small steps and giving us a “common sense” reason for it, we allow it to happen. The frog doesn’t realize he’s being boiled until he’s dead.
However, there are some (probably extremists) out there who believe that the current administration is trying to set us up so that they can declare martial law before the end of their term. And yes, I’ve heard a certain talk show host claiming that the bill of rights should be suspended. In the unlikely event that this should happen, it would start in small waves…a few extremists. Then as things got more violent, and the government decided to interfere more and more in the daily life of its citizens, more and more people would join. The streets of our cities would probably end up looking like Baghdad.
Lets hope this never happens. On top of that, lets start protecting our rights and the rights of our fellow citizens (even those that disagree with us) to prevent it from happening.

No, I don’t think that most Americans would join a Revolution. One reason being that it would turn into a Civil War. Not every person is all that unhappy with the way things are going. Then there is always the fact that so many of us don’t agree on enough to make any start towards assembling a cohesive Revolutionary group.

This wrong has been broadcasted to the American people over national radio shows – such as the John and Ken Show, George Putnam, Laura Ingraham and many more.
And we the people are fighting mad!
I called the White House – the woman who answered the phone knew of the U.S. Border Patrols’ case because she is getting phone calls from furious American citizens. In fact, the woman who answered the phone AGREED – this case is just plain WRONG.
I am writing to express my revulsion that a hero like U.S. Border Patrol Agent Ignacio Ramos is being convicted of a crime on TRUMPED UP CHARGES!!!!
Ramos has protected our nation from drug smugglers! He should be celebrated and showered in awards and accolades!
Since when did the U.S. Government base cases against our own law enforcement hinging on the testimony of a foreign national drug smuggler? Since when did foreign drug smugglers get to put U.S. law enforcement behind bars? Utterly outrageous.
The case that I read in the newspaper states that the drug smuggler changed his story YET that evidence was not presented to the jury – WHY? Below is the quote from the article:
“The Ramoses also contend Aldrete-Davila’s story changed several times.
According to the memo, Aldrete-Davila told investigators the agents shot him in the buttocks when he was trying to enter the country illegally from Mexico. But according to Aldrete-Davila’s later testimony and that of the agents, he was shot after trying to evade the agents upon his re-entry into Mexico.
The memo never was disclosed to the jury.”
In addition, Ramos clearly states that supervisors were onsite – with him on the ground – and for that reason he did not contact them officially – SUPERVISORS WERE THERE!
US Attorney Debra Knof of El Paso, said that the drug smuggler did not have a weapon. How can you trust a drug smuggler to tell the truth??? WHY WOULD A DRUG SMUGGLER NOT HAVE A WEAPON???
There are so many holes in this OUTRAGEOUS case that is reads like a Twighlight Zone episode.
If the two brave US Border Patrol Agents broke with protocol during this dangerous and courageous pursuit – that should merely be handled internally. Period.
We the people are stepping forward to say to the US GOVERNMENT FREE OUR HEROES – heroes saving our nation from criminals and drug smugglers – FREE RAMOS AND COMPEAN!

Just because someone works for law enforcement doesn’t mean they break the law. And just because someone is accused of breaking the law doesn’t mean they are guilty.
That’s why we have Due Process, and the constitutional requirement for a fair public trial. To find out who is criminal and who is not.
You can’t look at a case from the outside and know anything about what’s really going on. And blindly believing what reporters say is just another way to drink the Kool-Aid.

didnt you know illegal immigrants have more priviledges in the US than US citizens? DUHHHHH!!!! They get free healthcare, free section 8, food stamps, free education, ESL teachers, they even get IN STATE tuition for college, a friggin illegal can get in state tuition in california even though they are BREAKING THE LAW, but a law abiding US citizen gets the priviledge of paying out of state tuition??? Wouldnt it make sense for the illegals to at least OUT OF COUNTRY tuition?? ridiculous, i want to be an illegal and live of the handout of tax paying American citizens

Telephone the International Operator to ask. You may have to remove a digit. For instance in the UK if the number is 0208 795 8613, then if I am sending a fax from France I would have to use the Country code and remove the first zero ie: 44 208 795 8613. It also depends how big Nuuk is, it may be that the code represents a larger town in Greenland but the International Operator will have the answers.

I am a student with a $ 700 limit credit card. I’m not a crazy spender. I set up my budget and uses it to buy gas and food. Of course, I made some purchases, which exceeded over $ 100, but I paid the full balance before billing cycle ended. A month ago, I lost whole wallet, including my driver license, social security card, and credit card. Next thing I know is my credit card was charged up for $ 500 dollars without my knowledge. I recently faxed an affidavit, claiming that my credit card was lost.
What will happen? I think I have a pretty good credit score as a student (714) Will it be decreased?
I am changing bank after this issue is resolved. Anyone recommends any banks?

You did the right thing by faxing in the affidavit. This should clear up the problem. You also did the right thing by communicating in writing (via fax). Calling to dispute charges does not preserve your rights. You always have to follow up a phone call with a letter or a fax (save the confirmation that you received upon sending the fax if you can), which you did. 
I would suggest that you keep the card open even if you leave Bank of America. This will be good for your credit score. Make sure that the bank reverses any negative reporting that they put on your credit report, if they did at all.
714 is a good credit score, and I don’t think that you’ll suffer too much because of this. Seems like you did everything that you were supposed to do.
As for good banks, Bank of America is not one that I would say is ‘good’ but that’s just my opinion. Look for a credit union – they offer better rates and lower fees, on average. They tend to be more local and have a vested interest in the local economy and its customers. Look for a local bank or credit union that doesn’t have its fingers into everything like BoA.

Hi, I have to ask, what are you using as the “Tool” to fax your file? Are you using a fax machine? Internet fax service or fax software? If you are using a fax software, such as Joyfax Server, you can just enter the correct fax number with its country code and area code, then you can fax your file out. Please check the related codes. If you have a phone line and fax modem, just download the trial version of Joyfax Server and then have a try. You can fax your files with the trial version.

You dial 011 972 X YYYYYYY, where X is the city code such as 3 for Tel Aviv, and YYYYYYY is the local number. You may see Israeli numbers written with an initial zero which you don’t dial when calling from outside the country.
Fax calls are just like any other call, so you can use a phone card just like you would to make a voice call. Typically you dial the phone card’s access number, then your account number, then the number to call. No matter how you dial, when you hear the whistle from the other end, push the button to start the fax, just like you do for a call within the U.S.

You can, and should use a phone card unless you don’t mind paying a high price for an international long distance phone call.
