Go to the lexmark site and download the manual.

Answer by ericbullchess
error code 1200 is a paper jam error. Either you have a jam or the cartridge is not centered or seated correctly… Open it up, check for paper jammed up, and make sure the cartridge is seated right.

Answer by slyolefox

This is only meant to be helpful, but honestly.. the best correction is to realize that you’re using out-dated faxing methods.

I recommend reading this article on modern faxing, you could save a lot of money and headache:

By Mmm-Jelly Bean Flava!: Can you correct my English paper?
Add or delete words please and change verbs if it needs correction. Thanks in advance!

Because telecommuting is becomming increasingly popular, its neccesary for us to be more careful in planing for information security. As well as for our employees health and personal safty. We wish it was possible to talk to each employee individually, but that is impossible. Instead, we have prepared a “Telecommuter Employees Guide.” Which includes structured agreements that specify space, equipment, scheduling, communications, and conditions of employment. The complete guide should be given to whomever is about to begin a telecommuting assignment. We appreciate you discussing the following recomendations with any of your staff members whom are considering telecommuting.

Arranging the Home Workspace

•Create a space where you can expect minimal traffic and distraction.
•Make it comfortable but with suficient space for computer, printer, and fax.
•Make your workspace off-limits to family and friend’s.\
•Provide proper lighting and telephone service.

Ensuring Information Security

•Remember that you’re home office is an extension of the company office.
•Be carful to protect information and avoid computer virus’s.
•Be sure to backup and store data and other information in a safe place.

We do not recommend at-home meetings for telecommuters. By the same token, we suggest using postal boxes rather then home addresses. We also require smoke detector’s in home work areas.

To have any questions answered, my assistant or me can be reached at Ext. 310.

Did not think you could start a paper with because. That first sentence is a mouthful, I would shorten it and change the wording.

Example: Safety is our number one concern with the increased popularity of telecommuting.

and so on.

I’ve put in stars any modifications that I’ve thought of, but obviously don’t use them if you don’t like them! Hope I’ve helped!

Answer by Michael
I am reluctant to correct this, although wishing to be helpful, but being English I find it riddled with neologisms unknown this side of the Atlantic. Although the word ‘telecommunication(s) is common, the contrived forms ‘telecommute’ and ‘telecommuter’ are unknown. I would therefore suggest replacing the latter two with a periphrastic form using the word ‘telecommunication(s)’ wherever possible. I have copied your article below and inserted in brackets what I believe to be the correct form. I hope this causes no offence, but, as Churchill said, we are indeed two nations divided by a common language.

Because of the increasing popularity of telecommuting (telecommunication), it is necessary for us to be more careful in our plans for information security and for our employees’ health and personal safety. We wish it was (were) possible to talk to each employee individually, but that is impossible. Instead, we have prepared a “Telecommuter (Telecommunication) Employees Guide” which includes structured agreements that (which) specify space, equipment, scheduling, communications, and conditions of employment. The complete guide should be given to whoever (whomever) is about to begin a telecommuting (telecommunication) assignment. We appreciate you discussing the following recommendations with any of your staff members whom (who) are considering telecommuting ( working in telecommunications).

Arranging the Home Workspace

• Create a space where you can expect minimal traffic and distraction.
• Make it comfortable but with sufficient space for computer, printer, and fax.
• Make your workspace off-limits to family and friends.
• Provide proper lighting and telephone service.

Ensuring Information Security

• Remember that you’re (your – you’re is short for ‘you are’) home office is an extension of the company office.
• Be careful to protect information and avoid computer viruses.
• Be sure to backup and store data and other information in a safe place.

We do not recommend at-home meetings for telecommuters (telecommunication workers). By the same token, we suggest using postal boxes rather then (than) home addresses. We also require smoke detectors in home work areas.

When I turn both my computer and fax on, the time of day is displayed, but are different, which one is correct

Ask by Jaime P: When I turn both my computer and fax on, the time of day is displayed, but are different, which one is correct

Featured answer:

Answer by lucee
Look at the computer time in the lower right hand corner. If it matches the time on your clocks, it’s right.

Answer by Sm.mS
Check the real time against an atomic clock like:

http://www.time.gov/

Your fax and PC might both be wrong. Using the real time, you can make them both right.

Answer by igotplayedonce
You might want to check your cell phone time and compare to them. Most modern cell phones get their time from the cell phone carriers system. That system is calibrated by atomic clocks. Check your PC and FAX time to the cell phone and set accordingly.

If you have the no-how, you can have the PC check it’s time against time servers on the Internet. XP has this capability.

are you a licensed RE broker?
if not, hire one who has this data.
DO NOT rep yourself as helping
people deal in real estate without
being licensed.

hire any IT programmer to create this
for you in 2-3 days. COST under
,000.

But again, why use something
new when it already exists;
or are you not in the US?
