How do I network 2 home computers & 2 identical hp psc printers, each printer to print from its own computer?

fax computer

By nonachap: How do I network 2 home computers & 2 identical hp psc printers, each printer to print from its own computer?
I am adding my daughter’s computer and printer to her bedroom. I installed a router and cable connecting from my cable modem to both of our computers and have operational e-mail and internet access. My computer prints, as usual, from my computer on my hp psc 1200 series printer. My daughter has a Dell computer and also a hp psc 1200 series printer. Her printer works fine for copies and when I first installed it, also printed from her computer. Now I can’t make either printer work from her computer. I’ve checked the USB connection from the printer to her computer and it seems to be OK. In the Control Panel/Printer & Fax list, my comuter shows my hp psc 1200 series printer and also an Auto hp psc 1200 series on CINDY-A4CO4MMAO, which I think is the number of her computer. That option doesn’t appear on her list of printers. I think I need guidance. I am a 79 year old lady who is reasonably good with my computer but not knowldgable about hardware or networks. Thanks for any help.

Answer by Alex F
Well try uninstalling both printers from both computers, then reinstalll them again and see if they work….that should fix the problem, before you reinstall the printers make sure that you unplug them while they are turned on and leave them unpluged for a couple of seconds, that way the printers reset themselves, When you reinstall each printer, reinstall them one at a time. That should fix the problem.

Probably Kramer is having menus faxed to you.

No, just kidding. I think you can call the phone company and get them to trace the call and get them to stop.

Answer by Roger Vadim*LOL*
put you fax on the do-not-call-list too!

http://www.faxrecoverysystems.com/

I had to do it too….put your cell, home and fax…all on the do-not-call-list!

it drove me nuts too, but the number doesn’t know if its a home, cell, or fax…so you gotta do it for all numbers in you got!!

Please leave your answer in the comments! Thanks.

Selected answer:

Answer by dizneyfreak1
how much did you pay? That’s the max you can deduct.

However, due to limitations on employee business expenses and medical, you won’t get credit for the whole amount.

Answer by Rob
Medical expenses must exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income
Misc Expenses must exceen 2% of your AGI

Itemized deductions can be limited over all if you income exceeds
0,500 if you are Single, Married filing Joint or Head of House hold (,250 if married filing separately) Certain deductions can be reduced by 3%

Schedule A instructions

Answer by bostonianinmo
There are no maximum amounts for most of them.

Charitable donations are limited to 50% of AGI. Any charitable donation that exceeds this can be carried over to future years.

Medical deductions must exceed 7.5% of AGI.

Casualty losses must exceed 10% of AGI + 0 for personal losses or 2% of AGI for business losses.

Meals are limited to 50% of amount spent for entertainment expenses.

Itemized deductions can also be limited if your income exceeds certain levels. Most taxpayers don’t need to worry about that but if you’re in to 6-figure territory you need to be aware.

Phone, fax & internet are only deductible to the extent that they are business expenses. If they’re employee business expenses there’s a 2% AGI limitation. If they’re direct business expenses (Schedule C) there’s no limit.
