Looking for free internet fax sending program (not ‘free trial’ – really free)? – Fax Driver

Fax Service: Looking for free internet fax sending program (not ‘free trial’ – really free)?
I’ve searched on Cnet and Freedownloads, but every program I find is either free trial (and then you have to pay) – or it looks good but doesn’t install or load properly (mobility pass compass for example).

Do you have one that you use and it’s really free and it works for you?

Thanks alot – I’m tired of having to go down to the copy shop to send a fax. Don’t want to buy a printer and fax machine. Don’t want to pay a monthly subscription just to send every once in a while.

I’d even be happy with a service that charged on a per-send basis – a buck or two, so I don’t have to run to the copy shop.

What printer is a useful one to buy? – Fax Free

fax cheap

Fax Service: What printer is a useful one to buy?
I’m looking for a printer to buy but im not sure what features to look at when buying one. I want a relatively small printer which does not use up a lot of ink, and the ink cartridges should be cheap to buy. I also want there to be a scanner, and a fax would be great too- but not mandatory. I wouldalsos like it not to make a lot of noise because the one that i have now when printing sound like a train!
Any suggestions on which printer to buy?

Thanks for your help!

p.s price does not matter

There are no cheap ink cartridges. The printer itself is relatively cheap. The manufacturer makes his money from the ink cartridges.
Teens often mess up their printers by either using “compatible” (cheap) cartridges or by attempting to manually refill their cartridges. Only official cartridges (made by the same company that made the printer) should be used

I have a Canon Pixma 560. Very good reviews, and well built. However you may find the Pixma MP640 has all the facilities you say you need. Have used Epson, Zerox and HP’s in the past. The Canon is my first and by far the best to date.

I have a Canon MP640 and that is a great printer.

Prints on CD/DVD’s. Pictures are superb. Prints transfer paper with excellent results. Documents are well presented. It works with compatibles and refills and chip re-setters are available that reset the chip to read as full ink once refilled. These are them. http://www.gotmycartridge.com/CHIP-RESETTER-FOR-CANON-CLI-221-SERIES-AND-PGi-220-p/gmc-icanpgi220chipresetter.htm

They all make noise but this one is not too offense.

Small with scanner and fax isn’t going to happen.

The smallest you will get with a scanner and fax would likely be a brother, they have a very low profile. Although they do use a lot of ink, compatible cartridges are readily available very very cheap. The cartridge also have greater capacity than most printer cartridges currently being released.

Any newer printer, when you run out of ink you will need to replace the cartridge before your printer will do anything, this does of course include brother. Keep that in mind, and keep extra cartridges on hand.

Personally, I would buy a brother and load up on compatible cartridges.

ANY LATEST PRINTER FROM HP..

FAQ: How do I send a fax to a toll free number? 1-866-000-000?

Q&A: How do I send a fax to a toll free number? 1-866-000-000?
The number begins with 1-866 but I keep receiving a error and it cant be sent and has to be in chronological order. How can I send this fax using this number using Windows Fax and Scan?
This is the fax number, I also tried to call this number from the landline phone and I can hear the fax sounds so the number does work. I just need to know how should I format the number in the send to tab?

Call the number and ask what their fax number is.

can you ask with photocopiers.

If it’s a good fax number it should work but you could try putting a comma – , – after the 1. This is a pause command so the fax will wait about 1 second for each comma you put in. It gives the phone system time to reach the long distance circuits. You shouldn’t need it but it’s worth a try.

The key words are: using Windows fax and scan

Have you sent a fax before? Is the PC connected to a phone line?
If you expect the fax to be send over the Internet, then that’s probably where your problem is.

FAQ: Is a 1987 pontiac firebird worth my money? – Fax Free

fax cheap

Question: Is a 1987 pontiac firebird worth my money?
Okay, here is the honest truth coming from me. I need a car that is inexpensive, but I want something that is at least cool…i know I should be happy with something that gets me from a to b but that’s besides the point.

I have found a1987 firebird that is cheap and runs. Car fax report says It is within range. Are these high maintainance cars? Reliability?

If I can have something to get me back and forth that looks good, why not?

Thanks guys

It really depends on how many miles are on it, and how much your paying
just look at similar cars online on autotrader.com or craigslist.com and compare prices

For the most part, the 87 Firebird is a reliable vehicle.
But that’s a loaded question and you should have the vehicle looked at by a professional prior to purchase.

Not worth a lot of money now. But if you were to buy it and store it for about another 10 to 15 years, yes. By then it will start to appreciate in value.

However if it is a base model V6 it won’t be worth much. It needs to be a V8 Formula, Trans AM, or GTA to really be worth something.

As for reliability, use your head. This is a 24 year old car. It would be very unrealistic to expect a 24 year old vehicle, domestic or foreign to be trouble free. A 24 year old car would not be my first choice for a daily driver. A car like this is more like a second car that is only taken out for pleasure on nice days.

That depends on if it is a V8 or a 6. The V8s are not cheap on gas, and insurance, but will demand higher collector prices.
The 6 cylinder was made for people who wanted a car to look like the Trans am, but didn’t care for the performance. These are the ones that will be going cheap. Just have a mechanic check it out before you buy.

What is good all-in-one: copy, scan, print, fax? – Fax Free

fax price

Q&A: What is good all-in-one: copy, scan, print, fax?
For home use, not commercial use.

We are not tech savvy, and don’t need a lot of bells and buzzers on the all-in-one. Simple to use, simple to set up, etc. Must have fax in addition to copy, scan, print.

It must be easy to align. I have an HP printer, scanner, copy machine and all I have to do is print out the alignment page, scan it into the printer and it is set. I had Lexmark before and hated it. You print out the alignment page, and have to look at lines of grey and/or black and adjust each one. It was hard to see which line was most clear and if it needed adjusted to lighter or darker. So, please suggested a machine that is like the HP for alignment.

Price wise, can go into low $ 100 (like $ 129), but not over that for cost. Free shipping would help too.

I have looked at some on line, and so many of them have low customer reviews, due to machine jamming very easy. That is why I have not been able to find any that sound good.

Epson wins for best price/feature comparison, best warranty and lowest cost of ink. They have a new deal every day. For the past few days, refurbished printers with full one-year warranty were available from to with free shipping! You can’t beat their warranty. If anything goes wrong, they will fedex a replacement and pick up the old one at their expense. You can get ink for under 50 cents a cartridge. You pay under 2.50 for reusable cartridges and then get back for the empties. Or you can buy refillables (which is what Im using now) and refill yourself for pennies. The info on the Epson deals is updated constantly at http://ccs-digital.com/Best-printer-deals.asp
You might also want to sign up for epson’s deal of the day. Until the holidays they will be featuring a deal every day. Thursday it was the Workforce 323 for with free shipping. friday it was the 325 for with free shipping, which I bought.
I have a number of epson printers and have never had to align them.

What is a good asking price for my computer? – Fax Free

fax price

Question: What is a good asking price for my computer?
I have a Dell computer that I had purchased NEW for $ 2500 two and a half years ago. I am not a techie at all, so I need to know what I need to put in the ad. Hardrive is an inspiron 530 with a 16″ flat screen monitor. Operating system is Vista. I am getting rid of it because I live in a small house and am buying lots of furniture, with no more room to fit my computer. I am thinking about buying a laptop instead. I have some speakers with a subwoofer and a printer that was also bought new (Photo 966 with fax). What other pieces of info do I need? Also wondering what a reasonable price would be.

usually what I do when I’m trying to find what something might be worth I goto ebay, and search for it to see what people are trying to sell it for and what people are willing to buy it for. Unfortunately your PC alone isn’t worth more then 0 at the most you might be able to tack on another for the monitor. in order to try to sell it you will need to list the Processor type and speed, the amount of system memory, hard drive size, Operating system, and Video card.

Here is the price for one off of Amazon

Price: 5.45

Is that price a typo? The top-line Inspiron 530 with a dual-core intel processor sold for just over 0 full retail price, directly from Dell. This particular system was also offered with a single-core, crippled celeron processor. I don’t know how much Dell would have charged for that…but the full retail price would have been less than 0 if Dell had priced it properly.

Even 2 or 3 years ago, a 16″ flat screen monitor would have been 200 or 300 bucks, maximum. Depending on brand. Speakers? Good ones with subwoofer are about or less. I don’t know what Photo 966 with fax is. I’m assuming this is some multi-function Dell inkjet machine with scanner? Worth about 0 new, maybe.

When that entire system INCLUDING EVERYTHING was brand new, it would have sold for less than a thousand dollars, full retail price. How did you manage to over-pay for that system by 00 dollars or so????

The question is moot. How much you paid for it DOES NOT MATTER. If you are selling it, you need to price it by how much it is worth TODAY, and NOT what you think it might have been worth two or three years ago. After all, you aren’t selling this system in 2007, you are selling it in 2010. And it’s not new now, it is well used.

5 used is a rough estimate of what the system box is worth, according to the specs. I could find for the inspiron 530. But if you are tossing in the monitor, speakers w/subwoofer and multifunction printer…all that together is worth a little over 0 used.

If you are selling this all as a complete system with monitor, printer and speakers…
Ask 0 for it and accept any offer over 0.

Note, you MIGHT be able to convince someone to pay more than 0 for that system, but it would definitely be overpriced if you priced it over 0.

Used computers aren’t worth much. You’ll be lucky to get 0-0. Dell Inspirons don’t cost anywhere near 00 new.

Q&A: What should be included in the price when buying a used car? – Fax Free

Q&A: What should be included in the price when buying a used car?
I’m in QLD, Australia looking for a used car, and already had one dealer try to rip me off. I wanted to purchase a car from him after having a look and taking it for a drive. So i’ve asked him to fax me an invoice as my bank needs one so they can write out a check. Anyway once i got the fax i saw that everything on the invoice added up to the exact amount i told him i had to spend (something i wont be doing again). So he just basically found out how much money i had to spend and added on things to equal that exact amount, to the last cent. He’s added $ 1000 for “accesories”, tried to charge me for rego which i thought was already included, and also for 3 years warranty which i also thought was included in the price. Anyway im not dealing with him anymore and am looking elsewhere. I’d just like to know what should be inlcuded in the price of a car? Listed on the invoice was a stamp duty and transfer fee which is normal right? Thnks for any help as im not too cluey on these things

What should be included in the price when buying a used car?

just the keys and paperwork…do ur homework so u dont get burned

buyer beware!!

GL

Well, as long as its a valid invoice, the charges listed are options from the factory. You can cross check their invoice price with a similar car including the options at edmunds.com. I will also give you a link to a free buyers order you can bring with you to have all the figures broken down for you to make it easier to understand the charges. We are based out of the USA, however the process will be similar to where you are. The are 6 other checklists if you would like to print out and bring with. Good luck and I hope this helps.

How can we contact the CEOs of the US oil cartel? – Fax Free

Question: How can we contact the CEOs of the US oil cartel?
The individuals responsible for hiking up the gasoline price. Until we start calling, faxing, e-mailing them letting feel our outrage for what they are doing, they will continue to step all over us. How can they be contacted? Phone numbers, address, e-mail, etc. Anyone?
If they reduce production they create more demand. Don’t give me that line about supply and demand. Numbers can be manipulated to obtain the results you want. And yes, they are all in agreement.

I don’t know, but if you find out, let us all know!

announce on the news that you found an undiscovered oil well

Market forces dictate the price of oil. Supply and demand, ect…Take an economics course next semester.

You are not looking at this the right way!

Stop driving! Find a way to conserve! Walk to work! We are using too much fuel.

Just like too many are eating too much! So obese!

The US does not have an oil cartel. The price of gasoline is set by the market. Supply & demand drives prices.

My Question: good laserjet printer with printing and faxing abilities?
does anybody know any good laserjet printers that have an actual printer and faxing abilities and a reall good reasonable price? the printing and faxing is what i am mostly looking for but if it comes with other features that would be awsome. o and by the way im gonna run it with vista just in case a suggestion is given to me that is not compatable.

forget the fax machine and go with internet fax. It’s usually cheaper and you don’t need a fax machine or an extra phone line. For more information on internet faxing here is a link to a site with some articles:
