Q&A: Need a job but no one will help any suggestions?
Ok i have been looking for work for a year since graduating college.Ive signed up with the only two temp agencies in town they wont call me back, i look online for job listings, and email and fax my resume. I can only look for jobs online because my car went dead like it cant be repaired dead and my mother wont let me use hers not complaining just stating the facts.
We live in a rural area where there is no public transportation. Taxis dont come to my town bc its “too far away”.It takes 45 mins driving to get to the nearest city and you can only get to it by interstate so walking and riding a bike is highly ilegal(i was told this by the town police chief the other day). My friends are all two hours away and they live in a bigger city where they ride the bus or their parents let them use their cars. They all live wth their parents too so i cant go stay with them. I have no family i can stay with to get a job bc everyone in our family hates each other.
So any suggestions? No i am not whinning i want a job i need help on how to get out of this situation. Everyone has had to get help from someone at some point no one does everything alone. Usually ppl get out of college and their parents do everything they can to help them find work. Mine parent have not and will not so i need suggestions on what to do.
You did not state what degree you received.
It sounds like you need a job in a big city, where you can move to and not need to obtain a car.
Look up companies that do whatever your chosen profession is and start sending resumes to their HR departments. Do not worry if they have a job opening or not, as most places only actively seek employees when they have none available. You could very well be sending your resume in at just the right time. It is a numbers game, even if only 1 in 10 call you that is better then what you are doing now.
Try for your profession now, not a temp agency job. You may end up getting sort of stuck in a rutt and NEVER work in your profession if you stray right away like this. I am fairly advnaced in years, and have seen sooo many people do that, and it is really sad. You got your degree because you had a passion for it, you need to continue with that passion at this point as well.

I just want to know the record of this car, I don’t usually check the car fax but this car is very nice yet cheap so I’m concerned. Could anyone check this number 4a3ak64f88e035915 and tell me anything wrong with it?
It’s not really smart to put your vin number on the internet for everyone to see. Plus, carfax costs money.
Another thing, if it has a salvage title, your best thing would be to look elsewhere.

My Question: Need help installing a black ink cartridge into a used HP officejet 7110 all in one.Disks, fax, all instal.ok.
This machine was bought second hand from an office products store. I have bought a new pwr module, pwr cord, usb cable, as well as new cartridges to install. Just need to help me get the cartridge installed …. which doesn’t seem to fit the description of what I see in the manual I have for the 7100 series. Thanks
OK. Accoriding to HP.com you haev a pretty big machine. Not only does it use ink cartridges it also uses printhead cartridges. The ink cartridge you should be using have the number 14 on them, as do the printheads. HOWEVER, the black ink should have (on the bottom of the box real small) HP c5011dn. This is the number for the black ink cartridge. The number for the black printhead is HP c4920a. Make sure you hae the right item and make sure you are installing it forward and not backward. HP has some pretty good support so feel free to visit their site and get more info. They will also tell you that this machine has been discontinued and replaced with the 7210. I hope this helps.

I used the online contact form to tell Consumers to shut off my service before moving. Then I called them. Now they are saying they have no record of that and asking me to pay for months of service i didn’t use. Is there a way out of this bill? They told me to fax paperwork stating house is going back to bank, but there is no proof bank had it in posession at that point. It’s consumers fault, but I have no records to prove I sent them info to cancel.
Did you not keep a record of the online transaction? If not BAD move.
Without a printed copy or email confirmation its going to be hard to prove. You may in fact be liable for time until the property changed hands. The reason is that mail should have been forwarded and they will continue to send bills until service is canceled.
See if you can provide any other proof of move (for example, did you move into a rental property and sign a lease or for any utilities there?) That might be sufficient.
Failing that, see if you can negotiate to split the difference at least.

I bought a Brother mfc-240c and successfully installed it but i don’t know how to connect the fax machine with Lingo i tried the regular way faxes are installed but no luck it doesn’t connect to the phone and only gives me error tone. Any way i can fix it?
try calling tech support. they usually walk you through those types of things

I got past Step 1 a & b until I get to “Phone and Modem Options”. I am asked to select a fax device but my modem is not an option. Can anyone help me get past that section to move on to “Enable Send and “Enable Receive”? Thanks ever so. Boxergirl

cdgospel.net is a scam stole my money cause a $ 200.00 NFS charge that I am not paying and bank dennied the claim I filed for money back. I spent $ 50.00 with them never refunded. I reported to BBB, IC3, White Collar crime and there hosting which is Yahoo. Nothing. Still running. How to file police report online? Or no police report? I emailed and faxed them told them what I was doing no reply. How sad.
That is just gross that these theifs would hide behind God. Isnt that one of the reasons people are so discusted by organized religion? I for one love God, but hate these people for using his name for profit!

a fax machine is on sale for $ 250.00. The markdown rate is 40%. Find the regular place.

100% is regular price, so we take 40% off, and we have 60% left.
Mathematically, you have 60% of x = 250.00
so x = 250 / 60%
or x = 6.67
40% is equal to 0.40. Call x the regular price of the fax machine. So the problem is to find x such that x – 0.40x = 250
x – 0.40x = 250
0.60x = 250
x = 250/0.60
x = 416.67
The regular price of the fax machine is 6.67
The sale price, S, is the Regular price, R, minus the markdown, M. M is expressed as a percentage, P, of the regular price. Therefore, with P expressed as a decimal value, M = PR. So,
S = R – M
M = PR
S = R – PR
S = R(1-P)
R = S/(1 – P)
Substitute your given values into the equation, R = S/(1-P), do the arithmetic, and you’ll have your answer.

I am currently working on a restaurant website, specifically on “reservation” section. When a visitor sets up a online reservation (w/ their name, phone, no. of people, so on) I want this online reservation email to be automatically faxed to the restaurant’s fax machine. Please help how do i link them?
P.s. Im not pro web developer. Just working on it… hopefully theres a solution to my question…. Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!!

you may do that… well my question is… is that your own server computer for your work area???
if yes do this things:
1.) Set up your OS (operating system) server with your MySQL Database Server with the communication server of your fax machine.
2.) Set the fax with the telephone technician (what ever your telephone line company is using example is AT&T)
3.) Set up your router together with number two
4.) Set up your Server Operating System (Windows server or etc.) with a check of comunicating with other external hard wares… it is basically connected the fax to a router
if it is not your own server computer… like connected to web hosting server online…
manually a person will always check that server web host online that becomes a time eater for that person who will stay online for checking it…
