Answer:

Answer by computer_surplus2005
did you by chance not hook the phone cable up to it. Just because a printer/fax/copier will fax it does not fax over the internet highspeed connection. You still need to be hooked to a phone line. Unless you pay for a faxing program that works via the internet. Thanks

Ask by TreeHugger28: My friend gave me a CD with a load of pictures on it but i don’t know how to open them on the computer?
I know they’re supposed to appear on the windows picture and fax viewer but no little window or anything pops up when i put in the disc. how do i make these pictures come up on my computer so i can edit them?

Selected answer:

Answer by dayates78
Go to start menu and click on computer it should show the disk. Than you click on the disk icon and all the stuff will show up on the disk.

Answer by Tyler Read
Go to Start>My Computer. When that box pops up find your device called “CD Drive” or “DVD Drive”, it will probably be labeled as the make and model but it should be really easy to find.

You should be able to see all of the files on the disc. I recommend you select them all (Ctrl+A) and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) them on your computer’s hard drive somewhere. After that, just right click on any picture and select Preview. It should open in Windows picture and fax viewer because that is default but you can also select “Open with…” and find the program you wish to open the pictures in. For instance if you wanted to edit them open them in Photoshop.

Message me if you need any help.

Answer by Jesus A
http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/cs/en/telecom/fax/common/table/e39ea.htm

You may not need it. Windows XP comes with its own library of drivers. But that website does have your driver.

Answer by micksmixxx
Here’s the driver.

You may need to register with DriverGuide.com before you can download it, but it’s free and they don’t bombard you with spam. (I’ve been a member there for years, and I think I’ve only ever received one email from them.)

Best of luck to you.

Selected answer:

Answer by Kristen
Have you scanned your computer for viruses latley?

And if you have and there’s nothing wrong you may need to re boot your computer in safe mode by turning it off letting it come to the black screen then pressing press the F8 button at the top of your keyboard. Then try to run the program once you’ve logged on from there.

Answer by .R@mR@ider69.
mine did that the other night its as if my screen was transparant or it hadnt loaded properly, someone told me its either something with flash,or the java platform,i am sorry i cant help you further as i am just learning myself.

Answer by ronmac60
Kristen has given you a great answer. But if it doesn’t work here is another:

Hit Start, All Programs,Accessories, System Tools and then RESTORE.

Pick a date like last week or sometime when you did have pictures come up. Hit this date, then press Next Mext etc.

In a moment your PC will close down and when it comes back press the OK on the lower right hand corner of your screen.

That should do it. Your PC has been restores to a previous “nop trouble date”.

Hope ths works for you. It has for me dozens of times.

Good luck.

Ask by Awesome Bill: Can you load the drivers/software for peripherals to an external hard drive and be able to use them?
By peripherals I mean an all-in-one printer/fax/scanner, digital camera, mouse, battery backup, PC games, security suite, etc.

I’m wondering if I can move some things off the PC hard drive and put it on the external one without issues. Can it be done?

Featured answer:

Answer by dadimwit
Drivers for things like printers, mouse, camera etc pretty much need to stay where they are. Windows will expect then to be in a certain place and won’t be able to find them if you move them. You might be able to move some things but it would require modifying the registry to tell Windows where to look.
Program software is another story. A lot of software gives you the opportunity to change the installation location when you do an install. So you could uninstall some of your programs and reinstall and specify another hard drive.
