Question: I found a 2000 with 83 K, in my price range. should I buy it for primary car or wait until I can afford new.?
I have wanted a corvette for 35 years (I’m 39). I found a 2000 with 83K miles in my price range. My 1st question is: Is it a good idea to buy it for a primary car? I drive approx. 400 miles a week. Should I wait until I can afford a new one, or until I can afford to buy it as a second vehicle? The car seems to be in perfect condition (looks) I don’t know anything about engines though. #2. I know that I can go to car fax or some other web site to check the history, but what are some things to look for when buying a used corvette? BTW, the car is on a small lot, not an individual. #3. What price range should this car be in? I know I haven’t given all the specs, just a ball park figure for that year model.

I don’t know much about the engine’s, but about deciding whether to wait or not, I would definately wait for a new vehicle. They have a lot more technology and you have a much better guarantee on the condition. Just think, a 2000 Corvette sounds niceee, but a new one, sounds even better. I would definately wait.
