Reinstalling bundled software received with HP Office jet 5610 (Printer, Scanner, Copier & Fax)?

fax install

Question: Reinstalling bundled software received with HP Office jet 5610 (Printer, Scanner, Copier & Fax)?
I accidently removed the bundled softwares that I received when I purchased HP Officejet 5610, with a third party uninstaller. Now I am able to install only the drivers not the other bundled software. While installing, the interface informs me that all the other softwares are already installed. What is the way out? I have Vista Home as Operating System.

Try :-
Unstalling the drivers and then reinstalling the 3rd party software.. download ccleaner and clean the registry…as it may hav corrupter entries….and reinstall the drivers

you can download ccleaner from:-

Q&A: What is the best kind of printer to buy for a home office? – Fax Free

My Question: What is the best kind of printer to buy for a home office?
I’m planning on doing some thorough research myself, but I’m looking for an all-in-one, including fax, printer. Wi-fi would be good as I’m mainly using a laptop, but it’s not required. I’m not a big fan of HP or Compaq, but if they have the best price I will bite. Not looking to spend an arm and a leg on ink, so one that is compatible with the ink being refilled, that’s even better.
Thanks for your help.

H.P all in one.

Ive had an HP PSC 1410 for about 4 years, and I’ve only refilled the ink a couple times. Its an all in one that was about 0 when I purchased it. Well worth the investment.

Brother Series
I have the Brother Laser Printer and it was only . It doesn’t print in color though but very useful and cheap.

I bought an all-in-one Epson Stylus – SX-600FW. It has Wi-Fi and card-reader. A bit noisy when printing but no problems to use and has nice LCD control panel. Easy to set-up, including Wi-Fi. I use it as my main printer now, as both laptop and desktop connect wirelessly via router.

Ink is 4 cartridges I think, but haven’t had to change it yet. Photocopying is very good and simple (both b&w and colour).

Mine cost about £80 from Amazon (UK obviously).

Nobody can tell you which printer is “the best.” Can YOU tell me which TV or refrigerator is “the best?”
Just do your research, compare the cost of ink, speed, size, etc. and make your decision.

Submitting college application personally to admissions office?

fax online

By I Am Chaos: Submitting college application personally to admissions office?
I want to know if its possible to submit the application personally, by driving to the office of admissions at George Mason University and handing them my supporting documentation personally. George Mason has been known to misplace some supporting documentation, but my main concern is if I were to mail it, it might arrive past the application due date. I am applying today online, but they wish for you to send supporting documentation (such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, counselor reports etc.) my mail, e-mal, or fax. I don’t want to risk my documents arriving past Janurary 15th. Geroge Mason is about 20 minutes from here, so do you think they would allow me dropping it off personally. Has anyone ever dropped an application off personally? I’ll have everything I need by Monday or Tuesday, but will it arrive their by January 15th (next monday which is Martin Luther King’s Birthday) if the school is 20 minutes away? Please answer all questions it would be a great help to me!

Featured answer:

Answer by beating hearts baby
Im sure theyll accept it just deliver it to the office of admissions
i sent my application online but i delivered my credentials (transcript, letters of recommendation) personally at UT. just make sure you get a receipt when you turn it in, and you should have it all in an envelope..good luck!

Answer by Noonie
Wow…this is not necessarily the answer you want to hear, but you have to check in with the admissions office. My former university would accept admissions applications in person, but before the deadline. You don’t have to tell them “why” you want to submit it in person. Good luck.

Answer by Jen
If you are really concerned, then dropping off your application personally should alleviate your concerns. However, if you only live twenty minutes away, it will only take a day to have your application materials arrive by mail. I would only worry about mailing your materials if you lived in an international destination.

No worries! Good luck!

Answer by crabby_blindguy
Every university I’ve dealt with will accept hand delivery. But I’d suggest you call ahead to make sure you get there during office hours.

Also–most universities have on-line options for a lot of this paperwork now–and that speeds things up considerably. You should ask what your options are in that regard as well. Also check on faxing some documents if that seems appropriate.

Answer by scrappysmom
NEVER TRUST THe PO. I am still waiting on a priority mail package that was mailed in Aug. Def. hand deliver it and get a rec. for it.. As far as transcripts, they have to be the official transcripts MAILED from the schools.. U may be able to hand deliver the rest but not official transcipts..

Go to your bank. There is a notary public there. The company does not ask for a receipt.

RingCentral seems to be the hands down champion in this market right now. They offer a full package like the one that you mention above for around /mo. with some included minutes.

There are several you can look at but this one seems to be the best.

You can find a review of RingCentral and a few other services here.

Doctors Office Charging For Records?

fax free

Question by Barby: Doctors Office Charging For Records?
Is it really legal for them to do this? They are my medical records! All the doctors offices will charge me $ 25 each to pick them up or fax them to my new doctor when I get one for free. Seems pretty retarded and mixed up. Faxing is as much work as copying. I am in Texas, btw. Is there anything I can do to get around this?
I want copies for myself. I have never lost records either.
It seems to me that upkeep of copiers and making copies should be a part of their job title. I understand it may be legal to charge people for their medical records but I find it unethical. I work in a leasing office and we do not charge residents for copies of their own lease paperwork. You know why? It’s theirs. Every though I typed it and did all the work. I have no right to charge them. It’s part of my job and I should not be paid extra to do something that is included in my duties. Don’t say, ‘well they pay rent.’ BULL! I pay my doctor to spend time with me, run tests and blah blah. I think it’s wrong.

Best answer:

Answer by Bryan
There is nothing illegal about it and the difference between printing and faxing is the cost of supplies (ink, paper) required for printing.

Answer by butterfly8877
I thought you were able to get a copy of your records for free the first time, and then after that they are allowed to charge. Well, they do that in Ohio anyway.

Answer by Peter
I would just have you new doctor to request them and they should send them to him/her fore free

Answer by physicist
No. They are not your records, they are the doctor’s record of the treatment he/she provided. Many will fax them to a new doctor as a courtesy, they charge you because most times they have to be recopied after the patient losses them.

Answer by Valerie
Most states allow doctors to charge since it does involve staffing and resources. My state sets a fee of $.0.15 per page. Also, doctors are continually making copies so it does add up. The only exception that I know of is for copies requested by social security for a disability claim.

is the post office gradually price increasing themselves into extinction?

Ask by kelleygaither2000: is the post office gradually price increasing themselves into extinction?
the price of a stamp will go up 2 cents in May….w/email,faxes,and instant messaging,is the USPS pricing itsself out of existance?

Good Answer:

Answer by Teddy
It is possible that they’re setting up for a dramatic restructuring of socialized US postal service.

Answer by wartz
They have to cover the costs of service and will never become extinct. If there are cheaper alternatives, customers will vote with their wallets.

Answer by Michael D
no.

Answer by Ǫǖɛɛɳ Ƥɛļṍşį
It’s run by morons in government, that’s why they lose money every year. Keep giving them more and they just keep losing it. If it was a private business it would have been bankrupt years ago.

Answer by moonbeam
Some people, especially older people, will continue to use USPS for mailing bills. I agree the price increases are crazy, especially since the service gets no faster.

What is the best program out there for doing diagrams for things like office space?

fax computer

By cbr600girl: What is the best program out there for doing diagrams for things like office space?
I have been tasked with coming up with a plan or diagram for office space planning. Our facility is growing at a rapid pace and we are running out of office space. Is there a program out there to help with measurements and seeing the best way to make things fit. I want to be able to show placement of desks, modular furniture, computers, printers, faxes, etc. I heard you can do similar tasks in Microsoft Visio. Any other program recommendations?
Thanks

Answer:

Answer by abizzell4hire
AutoCAD would be your best choice, but you need someone trained in it to use it. You could always go to Wal-Mart and buy on of their planning software.

Answer by Morgie
Microsoft Visio 2007 if you’re happy to pay, or use a 60 day trial – http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/visio/default.aspx

Answer by R.F.
Visio is the best diagramming software available. It’s really easy to create diagrams and floorplans, etc, and very easy to move things around. And if you get to be a more advanced user, it’s fully customizable for more complex diagramming work too.

While you can use AutoCAD for diagrams, it’s more for detailed architecture and schematic drawings, so you may find it more difficult to use.

Q&A: Would you hire a Virtual Office Assistant?

fax internet

Question by izcrystalblue: Would you hire a Virtual Office Assistant?
Every business has office tasks that have to be accomplished, but not everyone has the finances or space for another employee. A virtual assistant works from their professional home office and is contracted – therefore no overhead expenses and you pay by the hour so there is no paying for lag time or benefits.

Plus with today’s technology, the communication efforts would not be much different than being in the same office – IM, Email, Internet based programs, Fax, telephone, and even overnight express.

Your thoughts please.

Answer by imisidro
I have a virtual assistant working for me — transcribing taped interviews, doing research for my website, and maintaining several sections of my website.

Virtual assistant is one of the best home-based businesses right now, and many businesses and individuals alike are warming up to the idea and need for virtual assistants. However, the market is relatively new. As virtual assistant, a key part of your marketing strategy will be educating potential clients how your service can help them.

If you are looking for possible exposure for your virtual assistant business, I suggest you get listed or join the following organizations

International Virtual Assistants Association http://www.ivaa.org/
International Association of Virtual Office Assistants http://www.iavoa.com/

Would she wear a virtual mini skirt?

Answer by BevD
I agree! I used to wish for and would have loved to be able to be an office assistant from home! I wish every company allowed this! And you’re right too…the communication efforts would not be any different at all than if I were sitting right outside your office door and you IM’ed me to have me send something for you. With the Internet, faxes and all the other technologies available…there’s no reason why a Virtual Office Assistant could not be just as reliable as someone that’s actually in your office.
I now work from the comfort of my own home but doing my own home business but when I was looking for a job, because of my health limitations something like this would have been absolutely perfect.
Good luck!
