Q&A: Epson Stylus R350 in custom BIG paper size? – Fax Driver

fax driver

Ask by NobodyKnows: Epson Stylus R350 in custom BIG paper size?
Dear all, please help me solve my problem.
My client has Epson Stylus R350, in Windows XP Professional SP3.

When I print PDF sized in paper 21.5cm x 50cm (custom paper), print result always discontinued after printed to Folio size (about 33cm).

I have been registering custom paper size using “Server Properties” in Printers and Faxes, but print result still not good.

I don’t know why it cannot printing properly, so please someone give me hint.

And if it is because of drivers, how can I unlock max paper size so the printer can allow 21.5cm x 50cm paper size?

I hope there are solutions for it, I need it fit the paper not shrink it, because it is a report document and the font is very small.

Thanks.
@alfred : thank you for your answer. but I found informations that maximum paper size allowed in this printer is legal size (21.6cm x 36.5cm), so maybe I should look for different solution. :)

An extension for NY State Taxes – is IT-370 available online in paper format?

Question by Cher was here JPA: An extension for NY State Taxes – is IT-370 available online in paper format?
I need to get a copy of IT-370 to someone without a computer. So I need a paper copy I can fax. On the NY State Taxes website, only an online option is available. I’ve spent an hour, at this rate I could just do his taxes for him!

Can anyone help! A link to the URL would be terrific.

I’m tempted to fax him the 2009 version, and that’s that :(

Thanks!
@Thanks Fred – it does appear they’ve decided that if you have a computer, you can’t download this form. I hope when I call in the morning they’re willing to fax it, not mail it! Someone there was having a very bright day…

===
Called them. They don’t fax. They no longer keep a downloadable copy online. They act like wanting to get the extension form at the last minute…is something unreasonable to do… “yes, it’s a problem for people who’ve left things to the last minute.”

Nevermind that it’s still 3/4 of a week away, and maybe delays are because you realise you don’t have some data you need, or somethings more complicated than you thought, or in this case an significant emergency came up. Oh well, they are at the local library so that’s where he’ll get them. What if he couldn’t drive or it wasn’t on a good bus route?

The 2009 version would be rejected and taxes marked as late, I was told.

It appears they don’t want you to get it online.

Ask by J.T.: Research paper online?
In a hurry and need to turn in a research paper like YESTERDAY. (Honestly I don’t usually do this, but it’s an emergency!) Where can I find a simple one online that I can modify slightly to turn in? No works cited or anything complicated like that needed. Must be 3 pages in length at least. Thanks and have a good day guys! PS: Or do any of you have one that you could fax or email to me? That would be great too.

Answer by Anonymous
you really should do your own homework…
i guess you could search the net or something? it would help if you specified what research paper you were specifically looking for.
i wouldnt use an online research paper tho…if you have access to it, it probably means your teacher does too, which means you’ll get DQed/expelled if you’re caught. i’d stay up late and finish the paper today and turn it in tmr, coz then you’ll only get a few points off for being late.

I have used this site before when I was in a jam or just to research topics and get ideas.

cant scan a paper to my computer?

fax computer

By mass hole!: cant scan a paper to my computer?
I have an Office jet Pro L7580 – I just started receiving “No Scan Options” when I try to use the scan button on the panel. Also I cannot open the software to HP Solution Center to scan from computer. My client doesn’t have a fax, so that option is out the window. Help? If not, I’ll just re-type my memo.

Answer:

Answer by T-Bar
If you installed the software correctly, go in control panel and click on Scanners and Cameras. You will see the HP icon there.

Click it to activate the scanner. You can scan from this application. You can’t just press the scan button because it won’t work unless HP Solution center is loaded or the driver loaded from Scanners and Cameras.

Go in START meu and look in HP folder. The HP solution center should be there.

Can you correct my English paper?

By Mmm-Jelly Bean Flava!: Can you correct my English paper?
Add or delete words please and change verbs if it needs correction. Thanks in advance!

Because telecommuting is becomming increasingly popular, its neccesary for us to be more careful in planing for information security. As well as for our employees health and personal safty. We wish it was possible to talk to each employee individually, but that is impossible. Instead, we have prepared a “Telecommuter Employees Guide.” Which includes structured agreements that specify space, equipment, scheduling, communications, and conditions of employment. The complete guide should be given to whomever is about to begin a telecommuting assignment. We appreciate you discussing the following recomendations with any of your staff members whom are considering telecommuting.

Arranging the Home Workspace

•Create a space where you can expect minimal traffic and distraction.
•Make it comfortable but with suficient space for computer, printer, and fax.
•Make your workspace off-limits to family and friend’s.\
•Provide proper lighting and telephone service.

Ensuring Information Security

•Remember that you’re home office is an extension of the company office.
•Be carful to protect information and avoid computer virus’s.
•Be sure to backup and store data and other information in a safe place.

We do not recommend at-home meetings for telecommuters. By the same token, we suggest using postal boxes rather then home addresses. We also require smoke detector’s in home work areas.

Did not think you could start a paper with because. That first sentence is a mouthful, I would shorten it and change the wording.

Example: Safety is our number one concern with the increased popularity of telecommuting.

and so on.

Answer by Michael
I am reluctant to correct this, although wishing to be helpful, but being English I find it riddled with neologisms unknown this side of the Atlantic. Although the word ‘telecommunication(s) is common, the contrived forms ‘telecommute’ and ‘telecommuter’ are unknown. I would therefore suggest replacing the latter two with a periphrastic form using the word ‘telecommunication(s)’ wherever possible. I have copied your article below and inserted in brackets what I believe to be the correct form. I hope this causes no offence, but, as Churchill said, we are indeed two nations divided by a common language.

Because of the increasing popularity of telecommuting (telecommunication), it is necessary for us to be more careful in our plans for information security and for our employees’ health and personal safety. We wish it was (were) possible to talk to each employee individually, but that is impossible. Instead, we have prepared a “Telecommuter (Telecommunication) Employees Guide” which includes structured agreements that (which) specify space, equipment, scheduling, communications, and conditions of employment. The complete guide should be given to whoever (whomever) is about to begin a telecommuting (telecommunication) assignment. We appreciate you discussing the following recommendations with any of your staff members whom (who) are considering telecommuting ( working in telecommunications).

Arranging the Home Workspace

• Create a space where you can expect minimal traffic and distraction.
• Make it comfortable but with sufficient space for computer, printer, and fax.
• Make your workspace off-limits to family and friends.
• Provide proper lighting and telephone service.

Ensuring Information Security

• Remember that you’re (your – you’re is short for ‘you are’) home office is an extension of the company office.
• Be careful to protect information and avoid computer viruses.
• Be sure to backup and store data and other information in a safe place.

We do not recommend at-home meetings for telecommuters (telecommunication workers). By the same token, we suggest using postal boxes rather then (than) home addresses. We also require smoke detectors in home work areas.

Q&A: could someone tell me what install paper port 1st means? – Fax Software

fax software

Question by txstrr: could someone tell me what install paper port 1st means?
trying to install fax software from internet.get message to install paper port first.what is that?

Best answer:

Answer by Twizard113
You didn’t say what the software is you’re trying to download but if the message says PaperPort, not printer port, then you need a software program for scanning and faxing called PaperPort. If that’s it then the software you are trying to download only works with that program. It costs for the PaperPort software. See below.

Is there a scanner that is fax quality only (low resolution, but fast paper feed) that connects to a pc?

fax software

Question by Shane M: Is there a scanner that is fax quality only (low resolution, but fast paper feed) that connects to a pc?
We use electronic fax software, but using a typical scanner to scan in faxes is insanely slow.

We need a sheet fed scanner that only scans like a fax machine, but connects to a pc and lets you scan documents into pdf format so that we can attach them to our fax software. I looked up sheet fed scanners, but they are more expensive than 3 in 1 ink jet printers, sometimes costing more than $ 500. I assume these scan at *high* resolutions very quickly. We only need fax quality scanning.

Best answer:

Answer by stu_the_kilted_scot
Not seen any scanners below 600dpi for several years. HP have several “scanjet” models what have document feeders, and if you go for a lower end on they are cheaper. Also they are slower at high res but acceptable at low resolutions.
