If you’re using regular Yahoo Mail (not Beta), just sign into your account, click on Options (it’s located in the upper right corner of the Mail page), click Signature. Then, change it to whatever you want. If you want to add it to all outgoing messages, checkmark that box. Be sure to click Save when done.
If you’re in Beta Mail, just click Options (also in upper right corner), then select Mail Options, then click Signature (in the left sidebar), change it to whatever you want. Be sure to click Save when done.

I’m really confused…I applied for several loans a few weeks ago and was finally approved. I faxed in my paperwork (employment docs, copy of driver’s license, etc.).The process took about a week, and the person I spoke to told me that everything was set and that they would be mailing the check a certain day. That certain day was two weeks ago, and I have yet to receive anything from them. I called and can’t seem to get a hold of anybody; when I emailed the guy he never responded. I’ve never had a loan before so I’m not sure if this is normal. How do I find out for sure that I wasn’t scammed? If someone did steal the check I want to make sure I don’t end up paying for a loan I never received.
BTW, I never sent them any money upfront; I knew better. I’m more worried that someone is going to use my info to steal my identity.

Definitely not normal!. Who was the company?. So they just don’t answer the phone at all?. Maybe google them and see if anyone else has had problems?. Maybe contact consumer rights (ACCC) and see what they reckon?. I guessing you wouldn’t know until something comes back to bite you??. The ACCC could at least point you in the right direction. As far as the cheque goes I’m sure it would have been in your name, and it could only be deposited into your account. Good luck!

A Fax machine is a telecommunications tool. It’s a way to send and recieve information (communication). It can be used in business to distribute and recieve correspondence, and it can be used in personally to send out resume’s, financial information to your tax person or bank, etc.

I am looking for a good reliable company that handles faxes probably more on a pay-as-you-fax basis. I find myself faxing about 5-6 pages a month (occasionally more) and it’s annoying to have to pay $ 1.00+ per page at a store. I don’t feel I fax enough to have a monthly subscription and I don’t want to pay to have a phone line every month either. I also have looked into the Magic Jack and have found that faxing only works sometimes with that device. Basically looking for a cheap/lazy alternative to faxing outside of the house minus the monthly obligation. Thank you in advance!

aren’t we all…
there are a few out there I’m sure but the companies just don’t have the stability of the more commercially known companies.
just hope the company is around in the future…tough to monetize.
you can have them go out with ads on them for free which might fit what you’re trying to do. I think most folks use their fax for business and ads kinda send the wrong message.

You can sign up online with a faxing service company for very cheap.
I personally use www.WiredFax.com, their prices start at .95 for 125 pages per month including a personal fax number, they also offer different ways for sending and receiving faxes online.

‘m disputing my credit report on Equifax.They’re asking me for a copy of my Driver Licesence,socail security card, and utility bill by mail or fax.I’m am not really comfortable with this request. Is this usually normal when you want to fix your credit report?

I wouldn’t be comfortable with that either. Maybe you should call them up and explain to them how fraud is a big deal now a days. Speak slowly as well, saying as you’ll be talking with someone with an IQ of about 48.

yes, it means your info might be compromised…you also have the option to fax your info in…i had to do this and my credit was fixed..because someone stole my ssn!!!

This is 100% normal. This is the only way for them to verify your identity. It’s not like the DMV or Social Security office that you can just walk in and say “see, its me”.

im not sure if i would do that if i were you. it just don’t sound rite. i would call your local SS office and just ask them or go to the nearest bank. that’s what i do and i always feel safe with that.

email goes through many serversa and can be forwarded, intercepted, etc. It remains on the server (oftne in the deleted folder) for a long time.
A fax is point to point and it is very very unlikely to be intercepted. As long as the recipient does not have the machine in a public area, faxing is much safer.

Neither, I’d phone it in or bring it in person. If you must email mark it private. If you must fax make sure to use a cover sheet that says “Private”.

The receiver of the email can hit Reply All by mistake and send your info to 1,000 people. A fax always sits in the machine for 2 hours until someone retrieves it. So both options are less than wonderful. But sometimes you just have to take a chance..
