FAQ: canon mp530 pixma printer?

fax online

My Question: canon mp530 pixma printer?
Hey I’ve got a practically new Canon Printer/copy/fax/scanner and I need a number to call for technical help. I can’t find any paperwork or anything online. And when i search for that particular model number, I can’t find it. Can anyone help?

I just copy/pasted your main question in google and got this – 2nd link down:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=123&modelid=13371

And the “Contact Us” link in small letters at the very bottom of the page gave me a number:
1-800-828-4040

You gotta spruce up your Google skills :)

printer advice? cheap cheap?

fax cheap

Q&A: printer advice? cheap cheap?
need to buy printer/fax/scanner. Saw epson on sale model 7450. Does anyone own one and what do u think

Epson are pretty good…but I would choose Cannon or HP….its on sale at best buy…All you do dont get Brother..its the worse.

If you need a fax machine, the 7450 doesnt have fax. The cx9400fax does. But personally, I use efax.com and its free for limited use. I only get a fax or two a month. If you need more, you can pay a small fee. Compare with faxwave.com fax.com etc and get the best deal. Since the faxes come into your email, you dont need a dedicated line so it’s probably cheaper and more convenient than a fax machine.
As someone who was in the computer hardware business for years (though I rarely sold printers since I couldn’t compete with the crazy rebates) I have always recommended Epson. The print quality is excellent, even on plain paper. I have photos I printed on a 640 about ten years ago hanging in my office which still look good, though not as good as the ones from the CX8400 on glossy paper. The warranty is excellent. For a year, Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. I had one customer who needed this. He called one afternoon and had the replacement two days later. Another client bought a Canon. It needed two repairs within a few months. Each time it was taken to the repair center, then picked up a few days later. This client runs a specialty printing business and this really hurt. They have since bought an Epson CX5000 and have had no down time since.
All name brand ink is expensive, but you can get cheap new replacement cartridges for Epson (not refills which I never recommend) for under at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp I have been using these for years.
The CX8400 scanner/copier/printer was on sale at circuitcity.com for with free shipping. It uses 3 colors plus black.
The NX400 which uses the same cartridges is on sale at Staples for .
The RX595 scanner/copier/printer also prints on DVDs. It uses 5 colors plus black and has even higher photo quality. It’s on sale for after instant rebate.

If you need fax, the cx9400fax was on sale at epson.com for .

Which is the best inkjet printer for me?

Q&A: Which is the best inkjet printer for me?
I am looking for a printer which has the cheapest ink. It should be all in one and preferably with a faxing and wireless capability.

When i go shopping i always see that the epson inks are cheaper than canon. Then why do people say that canon have the cheapest ink.

Thanks in Advance.

Each manufacture puts a different amount of ink in the cartridges.

Epson puts very little in theirs even compared to the others that put very little in them.

It is therefore not the price of the cartridge you look at but how much it works out per ml of ink in them!

My Canon inks have 11ml in them and cost 10.
Certain similar Epson cartridges have 7ml and cost 9.

Are the Epson really the cheapest?

I can buy Canon compatibles for my printer that cost 1.39 each. That’s 7 for the set of five and they are never rejected by my printer.

Epson rejects it’s own inks and compatibles so they are very unreliable printers.

No printers’ original ink is cheap.

Go with a brother.
Cost per drop – canons are cheaper than epsons, this is becuase there is more ink in the Canon cartridge (on average)
Brother printers are even cheaper to run.

FAQ: What is the best all in one printer for occasional use? – Fax Free

fax price

Fax Service: What is the best all in one printer for occasional use?
I am going to be setting up a home office and need to occassionally receive faxes, print photos, text, etc and was wondering what a good one would be. I don’t want to go all out as I will not be using it very often, but I want one for a good price that is easy to use and has the basic features you’d expect.

check out lexmark

there are HP ones that are relatively inexpensive. I use HP exclusively simply on the reputation they have. since you’re only going to use it sparingly, look at either Lexmark or Brother. They make REALLY cheap ones that should serve your purpose. also, go to ebay and look there. there are lots of used and refurbished ones there for cheap.

I have an all in one Hewlett Packard and have had it for about 4 years i,m home networking and find this a good printer scanner and payed only .00 for it at Future Shop.

What do you think? Answer below please!

I bought a Dell Photo All in One 966 Printer. I want to utilize the fax feature.? – Fax Driver

fax install

My Question: I bought a Dell Photo All in One 966 Printer. I want to utilize the fax feature.?
I want to use the DSL modem as my “device”. My understanding is that I have to buy a DSL Filter. How do I install if I don’t have a phone line?

You must have a phone line to use to use the fax feature. As far as the DSL filters go, you get them when you order your DSL service, if you don’t have a phone line then you can’t have DSL service.

Q&A: Good cheap ink-saver printer? – Fax Free

fax cheap

Q&A: Good cheap ink-saver printer?
Hi, my old HP Printer broked due to paper jam.Family been using that oldie for about 4 college years. The printer is fine, just the Ink costs way too much.

Anyways, what do you recommand? I’m thinking of getting something that does print, copy, fax, and/or scan, but not nessary if it can safe $ ink$ . Color is ++.

I recommend staying with HP but move to one of their Laser Printers. In years past these machines have been in the hundreds to thousands of dollars but nowadays you can get one for under 0. I saw one with rebates for 65 bucks. If you combine this inexpensive printer with cartridges from a discount printer retailer you will probably save thousands in the lifetime of the printer.

A cartridge for this printer costs but it will get you about 2,200 pages. That is less than 2 cents a page! If you think about it relative to ink cartridges which you get around 150 pages/cartridge the savings are tremendous.

If you really want an all-in-one printer, copier, fax, scan, etc. I recommend an Epson CX5000 which is what I have at home for my color printing. You can still get the cartridges pretty cheap from those discount printer suppliers and you’ll get all the functions you want.

NO SUCH CRITTER. THATS WHY PRINTERS ARE CHEAP. THEY MAKE IT UP ON INK. GO TO WALGREEN DRUG STORE . THEY REFILL FOR HALF THE COST OF NEW.

Can You Use A Printer With A New Computer Even Though You Don’t Have The CD To Install It?

fax install

Fax Service: Can You Use A Printer With A New Computer Even Though You Don’t Have The CD To Install It?
I have an HP Printer that I absolutely love. The only problem is that I can’t use it with the new computer that I brought because I lost the disk to install the software and I had to buy a whole new printer. The new printer that I brought is an Epson 500 Workforce and I hate the damn thing because it’s big, bulky, and I have no idea where to pit the paper. It’s basically all around confusing and even though my HP lacked a fax I would take it over the new printer any day. So my question is can I use the HP with my new computer even though I don’t have the software CD for it?

yes

i don’t think so because with my printer it took me forever to figure out why won’t print then i saw that disk and i’m like what the hell. so i saw the software cd programmed it and it worked ughh so frustrating. i think you might be able to buy a new cd or negotiate with someone to get it. you might be able to get someone with that same printer type get their cd and use that on your computer

Yes, you can download the software from the HP website, you do not need the CD. I haven’t used a CD to install a printer in 10 years. I just go to the website if it needs extra drivers, because often the CD is outdated anyways.

yes you can get the drivers online at hp website

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

Hi,

you can get the drivers/software for your HP printer from the HP website. Click on the link given below and enter the model number of your printer to get correct software. Once found, follow the onscreen instructions to successfully install it.

Feel free to contact me through email anytime. I am online 24*7 and if offline, do leave a message and I would get back to you asap.

Which inkjet printer uses the cheapest ink cartridge? – Fax Free

fax cheap

Q&A: Which inkjet printer uses the cheapest ink cartridge?
My HP 4480 is an ink hog, empties cartridges like crazy (and they’re pretty expensive, too, around $ 13 for a single black). What are some good inkjet printers (preferably w/ scanner or fax) that prints both color and grayscale that uses really cheap ink (without sacrificing number of prints)?

Kodak printers have cheaper ink. See link below:

http://www.printware.co.uk/Products/aad83458-4f87-11de-b4f7-000f206c8075/Kodak-ESP3/Range.html

is cheap!

Or, get a color laser (on sale). It’ll probably be cheaper in the long run.

Well if you really want to save money on ink printing faxes just get a virtual fax machine.

You get a free number and faxes are sent to your email account.

for your HP ink cartridges you see the given linkhttp://www.printcountry.com/products.asp?action=search&key=HP+4480&x=15&y=10Fo then you may compare online and choose the cheapest one

FAQ: how do I install my dell all in one printer?

fax install

Question: how do I install my dell all in one printer?
I’ve had dell all in one printer A922 since day one, then I had my computer reloaded and the guy took everything off so I installed it back and everything worked except I could not use the fax part, so I uninstalled it again and I have tried several times to install it back to see if it would work and it won’t install , keeps saying there’s an error and I went right by the steps as before, any suggestions, ?

Get your drivers and downloads from this source:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/NeedProductSelection

Uninstall any software related to the printer (Start Menu, Control Panel, Uninstall Programs ~ in XP, or Programs and Features in Windows 7). I am guessing you have the install CD that came with the printer? Either way, I would go to the Dell support website and download the latest drivers for your printer (instead of the older files on that CD).

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/NeedProductSelection

Download CCleaner:

http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/9587/

Install it and run it. This program cleans up your system, gets rid of old junk files that may have been left behind.

Disconnect the printer from the computer.

If you couldn’t find newer drivers in the Dell site, reinstall the drivers and software using your original Dell CD. Connect the computer when asked (during the setup process) or once all the drivers and software are done installing. Reboot your system at least once before trying to use your all in one.
