combination. Deal is I have it hooked up but do not have the software for it. So, the question is….
Do I have to do anything else or is it safe to run it as is?
Computer say’s it (printer) may not run properly.
Any extra suggestion’s or tip’s are appreciated.

You can try to find the software from the manufacturer’s website and download it because you need the driver to control the machine.

Did he give you it in an enclosed box with the printer’s label on it, or did he just give you it cold turkey? The printer should’ve came with a CD so you could download the software. If not, you could try downloading it off of http://www.download.com or try buying the software CD off of eBay or Best Buy or something.

Usually you have to have the software to install the printer on your computer. The software will install the correct settings for the printer to work correctly with your computer. Otherwise your PC won’t recognize the hardware that was connected to it. Have your husband talk to his boss to see if he has the software that came along with it.

it says install driver software for your multipass F80.
locate and install drive software. when i press this it says installing software. then it says insert disc that came with your device. i dont have the disk, now i pressed (i dont have disc show me other options.)
now it says windows couldnt find driver software for your device. check for solution or browse computer for driver software. when i pick check for solution, it is unable to install. when i pick browse computer for software, it gives me an outline of my computer. like “desktop, c:/ drive E drive etc” so im stuck. what can i do?

The brand is SHARP and the model # is AL-1651CS. I got it at a yard sale and I can’t find the software to download for it anywwhere! Please help!

You need to select you want to download “drivers”

Select Printers and faxes as product type…
then select product not listed as the model number
Then type in your model number. Download the printer software and the printer drivers
