Not really an answer you could use, but the word on IE7 is stay away from it until the bugs are worked out…apparently they are numerous.

what do you expect? it’s still in beta. wait til it’s finished.
you’ll get more focused help with ie7 in the ie7 group below
★★ MICROSOFT PRODUCT DISCUSSION GROUPS ★★
◙ Here are hundreds of Discussion Groups for Microsoft products such as Internet Explorer, Outlook, Outlook Express and the list goes on and on. There is even a discussion group for the new Internet Explorer 7 beta.
◙ You’ll need to signup for an MSN Passport Account to use these groups. But it’s really worth your time. You’ll receive better help here than anywhere. But if you didn’t pay for the product it might be smart not to mention it here. If you want help that is.

This is a little program that makes programs think IE 7 is IE 6. It works great for sites and programs that do not support IE 7 yet. I use with IE 7 and get three sites that don’t recognize IE 7 to work just fine.
See if this helps you. Select “Internet Explorer 6″ link.

If you have either DSL or broadband, you cannot send or receive faxes, unless you have a separate fax machine connected to the telephone line.

Receiving faxes in my email

I have a fax machine but I’m on the road a lot and would like to receive them via email. Is there a way to get my faxes to go from my fax machine to my email?
Best answer:
Answer by TJ
from your fax machine directly to email — none that I know of (but that would depend on your fax machine, too).
You can set up a modem on your computer that, with the appropriate software, will allow your computer to receive faxes for you, then deliver them however you choose (email, printing, etc.)
Also, there are services offered however that do this for you. check these links for example:

Answer by Mary
He would need to use a service like Myfax or one of those. Fxes cannot be sent over any broadband connection, they require dialup or a 3rd party service.
Sorry it wasn’t better news
Mary
Answer by Christian
There are plenty of fax to email services out there where he can send and receive faxes from an email connection if he is using a wireless connection and has access to an email account. Only thing is it does cost money to use these type of programs. However if he is planning on doing a lot of business from his truck then it may be worth the cost.
Here are some links to fax to email services:

Ask by gina: Is there a way to keep your fax machine from receiving “junk mail” or “fax blasts?”?
I know there are the numbers at the bottom to remove you from their lists, but there are SO many different companies sending us these at my job! Is there any way (like the donotcall list for telemarketers) take our number off of all of these lists BEFORE we get the faxes?

Answer by superfunkmasta
If I got on one of those lists, I would write down the number, disconnect the fax machine until it had cleared out.
Then fax the following back to the sender:
Thanks for wasting my paper and toner azzholes!!
Unfortunately for you, I have already sent an anonymous tip to the CIA that someone at your number has been faxing letters threatening to send anthrax to federal employees.
Have fun!!

You can use your yahoo account to send faxes. With MyFax faxes can be sent/received from your email. You don’t need to download any software. All you need to fax is your yahoo account. Go to http://www.myfax.com for more information.

A fax is charged as a phone call. If you would like a dedicated phone line, you will need to buy one, OR get selective ringing. this will enable you to keep your fax plugged into the wall 24/7 without disrupting your phone line. Otherwise it is your phone number, and you will need to set it to only recieve faxes when you are waiting for them.
Answer by Shamsur R
its cost .00
for each paper
u print during the fax
good luck!!
Answer by emeraldseye
Provided your all in one printer includes a fax function (my all in one does not, scanner/printer/copier) then yes you can receive faxes for free….as for sending them, it depends on your phone company and what kind of plan you have for long distance, if you’re sending a fax out of your area code.
You will need to hook your fax machine up through your home phone line if you do not have another line in your home (dedicated fax line). If you are worried about someone calling you when you’re sending a fax, use *70 before you dial in the number and that disables call waiting, so your caller will receive a busy signal and not interrupt your fax.
Hope this helps some.

Answer by ferjero989
1- as far as i know theres no “special” charge for sending faxes other than the cost of the phone call. if you have a modem in your pc you can even send the fax from your computer.
theres free internet services to send faxes throught the internet, i dont recomend any1 cuz i havent tried.. you can google “free internet fax” and try some..
Answer by Yaga Z
if you have vonage then you could use online faxing services, they will allow you to be able to use both at the same time. Some companies such as RingCentral handle both VOIP and Internet Faxing all in one account, check out http://faxthroughtheinternet.blogspot.com/ it is the best solution in my opinion because you tons of money compared to using the traditional fax machine.
