Shut it down from amins.
After 5 mins, start again. Print a sample page.
Then try again.
Answer by Beowulf
To fax someone you need to download the page to a document or pdf file first of all, then simply locate it and click on the Print options. Afterwards find the properties area of the printer and click the drop down list and click on fax that will send the document by fax to the settings you set up for that person.
HP all-in-one series come with the HP service center and to scan a document simply go to it and when it comes up click the scan document button and it will pull up the scan screen and instructions on what to do. Good luck.

How can I uninstall HP officejet 6500 E709n series all-in-one?
Posted by in Fax Software on December 27, 2010
By Donna: How can I uninstall HP officejet 6500 E709n series all-in-one?
I bought this all-in-one printer approximately 3/3/10. We bought it because we need a Fax machine. We were never able to connect the fax. We had to have HP’s “special” 2-wire” cable. I asked HP where I could buy this cable, and they could never figure out what we were asking. Our questions were basic easy. We got sick of it, and returned the printer today. I didn’t uninstall the software prior to returning this product–I did not know if the store would take this product back yet. Now that I no longer have their software CD, I cannot uninstall all HP software from my computer. Windows uninstall program cannot uninstall the software. Does anyone know how I can get this software off of my computer? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Donna

In your Start Menu look for the HP folder. Open it and look for the printer folder. Look for the uninstall there and try to run it.
If it still won’t uninstall you can try to reinstall the software from HP and then uninstall it. The software and drivers can be located from this page after selecting your operating system.

EDIT- After installing software re start windows to insure all files are installed fully. It is a good practice to re start windows after installing and uninstalling software before moving to the next step.

Online fax service allows you to send fax from your PC or through your fax machine. You can subscribe the service from a provider. All the necessary software requirements and online fax number are included.

Your samsung manual should explain how to setup faxing on your device. However using fax machines to send and receive faxes is costly and rather outdated. There is a much better solution these days: Internet Faxing.
The benefits are:
Environmentally Friendly – Traditional fax machines require a lot of ink and paper. Even if there is a problem with the fax, a transmission sheet is usually printed telling you what went wrong. With internet faxing everything is via email – event notifications and logs. Also no more printing of Spam Faxes.
Lower Costs – All you pay for Internet Faxing is the monthly fee plus any overage costs if you send/receive more faxes than your package allows. With a traditional fax machine you need: The fax machine, ink, paper, phone line with rental charges, maintenance costs for the fax machine.
Convenience – You are not tied to the fax machine to send and receive faxes. Wherever you can send or receive emails you can also send / receive faxes. That includes to your PDA, at an internet cafe, at a friends house on there home PC or anywhere else.
Easy Distribution – Most Internet Fax providers allow you to setup multiple email addresses to recieve faxes to. So you can get the faxes to everyone involved at the same time with no additional effort.
Always On – Internet Faxes are never busy. Therefore you customers will always be able to send you faxes on the first go – unless their old-fashioned fax machines have a problem of course!
Security – Most providers support powerful encryption techniques and password protection of faxes. Add this to the fact that they are delivered to your email rather than lying around on a fax machine that anyone can access.
Easy Monitoring – You can view logs of what, when and where faxes are sent and received at any time online.
I personally use eFax. They are the largest provider with a huge coverage and are very reliable. You can sign up for their 30 day free trial here:
http://home.efax.com/s/r/efax-brand11?VID=36258&TYPE=300087
If internet faxing sounds like a good solution for you but you want to shop around and find a package that best suite you then I also recommend this website:

They compare the leading fax providers in a side-by-side table and have great in-depth reviews on each one.
Hope this helps.

Talk to the manager of computer store that you purchased the computer from.
Answer by TxVarmit
reinstall the disk. If that doesn’t work, go to http:.//www.hp.com and choose drivers and software download and enter in your model name. hp700 is too generic to locate a reasonable driver.

How do you scan with an Epson Stylus CX9400 Fax Series?

By camproses: How do you scan with an Epson Stylus CX9400 Fax Series?
I have scoured the manual over and over again, looked online, googled, tried the built in help and nothing, nada zilch. Plenty on faxing, copying, printing but NOTHING on scanning. There are buttons on the printer display screen for doing everything else but scanning, and the software I installed that came in the box has nothing on it for scanning. I know it does it, but how?
I have already checked on the website to make sure I have the right drivers, and it tells me that everything is up to date and I have a compatible operating system. When I check my computer for the software though, I can’t find it.

Scanning is done through software on your computer, which may be the reason its not in the Epson manual. They cant know which software you are using. You can go into programs-accessories and find the scanner and camera wizard. In Word, wordperfect, adobe and most photo editing programs there is an acquire function which lets you bring in scans into your documents. Typically you do a pre-scan to show the image, then crop the area you want, set the resolution and then do a regular scan. If you are scanning photos for the web, you want 72 dpi. You also want to cut down the size to the actual size you want it displayed on the screen. If you want a 1-inch by 1-inch photo, choose that. Anything more would just make the file larger, take a longer time to load and not look any better. If you are scanning photos to print for an album, you want around 300 dpi.
And if you want to save money on ink cartridges for your printer, visit http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp
