Is it a good sign to be asked for salary requirements?

fax email

Question by duffcaprous: Is it a good sign to be asked for salary requirements?
I interviewed for a job and yesterday they called and said that they wanted to move forward. I was asked to fax over and application and an employment release form. I was also asked to email my salary requirements. Am I likely to get the job or is there anything that might make them not take me at this point other than the salary (which they said was in a good range)? It is in the IT field, for information purposes.

Answer by kittenandco
I think it’s a good sign. Especially after the interview; it sounds like they’re writing up an offer letter. Good luck!

Answer by InspectorBudget
The news is good that you have passed the first hurdle. However, the salary requirement does put you ( and everyone else in the same position ) in a bit of a bind.

Ask for too much, and they may pass you over for another candidate with lower salary requirements; ask for too little and you’re short-selling yourself which may lead to dissatisfaction with the company and job.

One option you have is to go to a website like salary.com, and look at the ranges of salaries for IT folks in your state or city. Then answer the company by giving a range a little tighter than what you see on the web.

Good luck

If a judge had me sign something to fax over my text records from virizon, where would she send it?

Ask by confused comrad: If a judge had me sign something to fax over my text records from virizon, where would she send it?
I signed a thing and verizon is going to fax her my texts from a certain night. she is getting this to give to my parents so they can “protect me” ” just incase” but I am allready out of legal trouble. The only way to protect myself from DEEP shit is to keep this away from them or take a certain part of it, how would she be giving it to them?

By hand, email, work fax… Ect?

( please don’t lecture me or anything, I learnt my lesson and will never do it again)

Featured answer:

Answer by Bertrand Blows Idiots
If that judge finds out you intercepted her message, you will be in more trouble than you were originally. I would give up this thought if I were you.

Answer by Pam
if they said they would fax them then that is what they will do. They will fax them to the judge at the fax number she told them to. You had better stay out of this one or you will be in more trouble. Just admit what ever you did so maybe they will go easier on you.

Answer by Liberalism is a mental disorder
she would send it to an office.

I just received a job offer letter via email. There is a pdf letter that they want me to sign and fax back…? – Fax Email

fax email

Ask by S Palin, The Endless Infomercial: I just received a job offer letter via email. There is a pdf letter that they want me to sign and fax back…?
to them; I cannot get to a fax machine until tomorrow. He needs to know if I accept the job by 9 am tomorrow. Should I email him a formal acceptance letter now, or should I write a quick thank you for the job offer and send the form tomorrow?
the form is fairly simple and I understand the wording perfectly. what i’m asking is should I send a quick acceptance email or a formal acceptance letter
they do not require the letter by tomorrow but by monday; so faxing the letter tomorrow will be fine.

Answer by Englishman in Kentucky
You could be signing your life away, they usually ask you to print the forms and mail them.

If you know the Company, a fax is as good as mail but retain copies for yourself in case of problems down the road.

Answer by ladydreamer24
I would probably email them back and accept the job. Tell them I am sorry but I do not have access to a fax machine until in the morning and just wanted to let them know. Then fax the letter ASAP in the morning. Good luck!!

Answer by CIA
Email him a thank you note and tell him the fax will be sent promptly when the print shop opens in the morning.

Answer by Cave Creek
Send an email saying you need to talk to someone in charge before signing anything or simply mark it Spam. If they are phony (very likely) they will disappear. No one legit will do this type of job offer!

How to sign signature online?

By runtheatrerun: How to sign signature online?
I am filling out a job application and need to sign my signature before I email it. I know some of you may say print it out, sign it, then fax it, but I do not have access to a fax machine. So it would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out here! Thanks!

Good Answer:

Answer by Polar
But your signature on a piece of paper, and scan it onto your computer. Then, put it on your document. :)

Answer by Canadian Diva
The only other way is to:

Print out the application, sign it, scan it in to your computer, then email. Failing that, you are unable to with the lack of equipment.

Peace:)

Answer by Dean Franz
Well, if you wanted to sign it without having to print it, you need a table PC, or a Computer with a touchscreen, s my figure is that if would be easier to print it, sign it, and then find someone who can help you with the fax thing, I now most copy shops should help you with that, also some offices, and I believe, I’m not sure but you could ask at the Post Office, and if they dont, they could probably lead you to someone who will help you. Libraries have that service sometimes as well

Answer by Justin H
The other thing you can do is print it out, fill it out, and then scan it back to you computer as a PDF and email it.

Answer by Lisa K
print out the paper the paper sign it then scan it on your printer then email it.

Q&A: Is it illegal to be bill for a service you didn’t sign up for?

Ask by A P: Is it illegal to be bill for a service you didn’t sign up for?
I signed up for fax.com, and the agreement that I agreed upon was that I pay for every fax sent, and that was it. I only used it once in Sept of 2008. Then in Feb of 09, I get a bill out of the blue. I check out the website, and the new website says that the services are a monthly fee (and once again they changed it to a higher price). They didn’t even NOTIFY me that my account was changing, they just went ahead and billed me and said they had a right to change how they opperate and what the service costs WITHOUT notifying me. Now I’m having the damnest time trying to get them to cancel my account. I emailed them 3 times now and once they finally responded stating my account is remaining open until I request a cancelation. It’s like DUH, hello I did! I told them I’m not paying a penny I didn’t sign up for a monthly fee service. They have no right, I have a right to refuse their new service as I did not authorize to be billed for a monthly service! It’s like their TOS says they are taking away my freedom of rights if I sign up with them!
Fax.com has changed their website twice since I signed up with them. That includes changing their TOS. I’ve tried looking up internet archives but I cannot access the original website I signed up with. So I have no idea what the TOS says other then the current TOS.

Also, I had erased my credit card info so they have been unsuccessful at charging my credit card. Now they’re just emailing me. Plus, get this. They billed me again but they haven’t dared to send me a email saying I’m getting a second bill. Go figure! I had to log in to make sure my mailing address has been removed and I saw it.

Answer by Dasans
Here’s a tip: don’t sign up for and give your personal information to shady ass websites.

Answer by Dan H
If you are paying this with a credit card, inform your credit card company of your problems with canceling this account. Call them, don’t email them. the credit card company calls this disputing the charges.

Try calling fax.com and sending them a certified letter asking them to cancel the account and to refund your money for the services you did not request, or to clear your account of charges, if you haven’t paid them.

Be nice, but firm. The person answering the phone isn’t your enemy and also isn’t the one sending you the bills.

Answer by Pat
You may have agreed without realizing it.
Read their “terms and conditions” again.
The ones you agreed to when you started the service.

You can file a complaint with the Attorney General of your state – Consumer Protection Bureau.

www.usa.gov.
“state government”
follow the links.

Answer by laughter_every_day
No it is not illegal to send a bill. I am free to send you a bill for this answer, and you are free to throw it away. If you want to know what will happen if you refuse to pay fax.com, and they decide to sue, start with reading the original agreement, word for word, with special attention to any provision concerning changes and notice.

Answer by mEn7aL
Don’t sign up for dumbazz websites that could be run by some convict and while you think it looks good..IS NOT! so be smarter and read the fine print and inform ur credit card company and complain at bbb and report them for fraud if you think is and think before ordering random things that your are not going to need again.

Q&A: How can I sign and fax a document without a fax machine?

Ask by roberticvs: How can I sign and fax a document without a fax machine?
I’ve been using efax, and various clients like to have me “sign and fax this back to (them)”. I’m using efax, and I would like to avoid paper and simply sign their document and email it right back to them (through efax, presumably, let THEM print things out).

Is there some way I can plant my John Hancock on a document electronically?

As she said they don’t have a service. BUT you can use your yahoo email address to fax. With an Online faxing service you can send/receive faxes from your email. Faxes sent from your email will be delivered to your recipient’s fax machine. You don’t need to buy any hardware or software. All you need is Internet access and an email account. Try MyFax, http://www.myfax.com
