Fax Service: How do I stop windows fax installation at start up?
goto start-run—-type in msconfig–hit enter–then look for the tab SERVICEs—find the fax box and uncheck it–also peek in the Start-up tab, look for same thing—-then hit apply, ok.
A box will pop up saying you changed startup and restart or exit without restart..you can exit without until ready to restart..
the next time comp starts..you will get a message from microsoft saying startup was changed..check box to say u no longer want to see that message ..then ok
ALSo: You can go into add and remove programs in your control panel..on left find Add and Remove Windows Components..click on that..then when load..uncheck faxing services (any others too while your there) then apply and ok
Hope this helps!
Good luck

Ask by kip: MARKETING HELP PLEASE New start up internet company with great new idea but shallow pockets?
The internet is terrific and full of great ideas and comanies but if nobody gets to your idea or comany your sunk. I have a very targeted audience junk yards body shops mechanics and used car dealers. Having next to no cost because the product is developed, income would be realized immediately from subscriptions. The affordable ways I have found to reach my targets are FAX BLAST I know quazy legal but my start up has no assets yet. PHONE BLASTS appeal to me. Does anyone have ways that have worked with limited funds. Limited means I can get my hands on 50 to a 100K private money to start. Thanks

Whilst blasting mailing lists and such maybe a good idea if your going to pay time and time again for peoples details i think you would be much better off getting your website known on the internet. You could get good first page positioning and pay nothing for your visitors, which is surely a much viable option for any internet business? Good search engine optimization (seo) for your website and knowing things like getting free visitors to your web page should be your top priority to getting your internet business profiting the right way. A good website i know of is http://www.imvideos.co.cc
They produce video tutorials on seo, website visitors, maximizing your sales and getting repeat customers to come back time and time again.
Hopefully this is a good answer for you.

There are SO many ways to market your company without hardly any money at all. 50 – 100K?! You can do all kinds of things with that kind of money!
I suggest you do not do that though. Use that money for site development or something useful – you don’t have to spend a lot for advertising / marketing! If anything, I would limit your start up expenses to under ,000! And that is if you even want to spend that much.
The site listed below has many ideas on how to market in inexpensive and free ways. You might even want to check out the free ebook there – as it will help you come up with creative marketing ideas that will fit your business idea. There is even an article about the top 5 ways to get people to your site – for free.

Question on where to start?

Ask by aa: Question on where to start?
Hey guys, I applied for a used loan and got approved from a dealership about 2 hours away. He needed me to fax my paystubs, bank statements, cell phone bill, and 10 references.. well I didn’t hear from him since, other then him telling me “we got all your paper work, come down to the dealership.” And he told me to come down this Sunday and he’ll have the car ready.
Anyway, the place is run by hispanics, and haven’t from him since. I’m worried he took my info and maybe is trying to do identity theft, but no real evidence yet. Anyway my credit is 460 so I know they can’t do much with that. But what is my first step in finding out if they have done anything, or take precautions to make sure they don’t?
It was a buy here-pay here so they needed all of the info for the loan
He also needed copy of driver license and social security card.
Unfortunately these people don’t have to carry green cards.

So…all Hispanics are ID thieves? That’s kind of a racist notion, don’t you think?
Answer by Keith
Even if your credit is bad someone can make your life miserable if they use your personal information to commit fraud. If your social security and information is used for employment – the IRS will come after you for the taxes. If they use your identity to obtain medical procedures they come after you for the bill. If they commit a crime and use your identity and don’t show up for court – they come and arrest you. I would sign up for identity theft protection asap. I use SOLUS Identity Theft Protection. The website is http://solusid.com. I have unlimited access to my credit report and am alerted anytime someone uses my personal information. If any damage is done they do everything to fix it including legal care if needed.

“The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available.
Insert the ‘Fax’ disk and click OK.”
I have no idea on what this is talking about I didn’t install any fax thing. I don’t click on anything when I start my computer up it just pops up by itself.

mine did the same thing. it was a printer that i had installed so i used that disk and now it’s okay
Answer by jayksofue
This probably means you are connected to a faxing device and it is looking for the program which allows you to fax. Try and unplug the fax chord from your computer if you have one or a printer chord. If you want to use your printer/fax machine, go online and go to the website of the company which makes your computer. Then, find a link which should be called drivers/downloads and then download the driver pertaining to the model of your printer/fax machine.
