I have Windows XP, and after a long move have just reconnected my computer to the internet. I have a combination modem fax card (a combo card), the modem seems to be working fine. However, my sound card doesn’t seem to be working, it gives me the error message that says no sound device available. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks!

Often such problems are driver related, but moving would not change your drivers. Moving can loosen cards, though, so make sure your sound card is seated firmly. If the sound card has given out, you will have to replace it.

ok, when I start my Laptop type Toshiba Satelite, I can print using the Canon Printer LBP2900 after few minuts I can’t do so, Ichecked connection and power, its OK, disconnect the USB and reconect it doing nothing, when I go to printer and faxes in the control panel I found no printer installed when I try to install one its tell me that THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE NOT RUNNING.

Print spooler service is listed under start–>control panel–>administrative tools–>services. You will see a long list in alphabitical order. Scroll down the list until you see Print Spooler. Under the Status column it should say ‘started’. And under Startup Type column it should say automatic. If it says different click on it and change it.
Please note that this is how you get to print spooler on my computer which is a desktop and I am running windows xp. Good luck. Hope you get it running again.

I have a all-in-one printer with a fax system. I bought a external 56K Modem USB so I can send and receive faxes, because my computer does not have one installed on it. When I installed it, and when I try sending a fax, my computer shuts down and starts back up. It does that every time I try to send a fax. I was wanting to know what could be wrong?

Reinstall software. Check if connections are tight and correct.
