Fax Service: Can someone tell me how to delete all the pictures in the windows picture and fax viewer at one time?
I have Windows XP. I can delete the pictures individually, but that takes a long time.
find the location of the pictures, or its directory where they are save or stored, when ur in the directory select the pictures, if u want to select all ,hold control key + A then press delete key at the keyboard.
u cant delete all at once in windows picture and fax viewer
but u can go to the folder of the pictures and ctrl +A to select all and press delete key to delete all in that folder
Yes, From your explorer menu, click on edit, then click, select all, then right click and click on delete.
Go to “Edit” at the top of the page. Click on “select all”. Then “right click’ on one of the files that’s highlighted and click delete.

Recommend me a handgun….first time buyer / owner.?

Question: Recommend me a handgun….first time buyer / owner.?
The gun is intended solely for home defense however, something versatile for possible conceal carry in the future. Obviously I will be spending some time at the shooting range with it as well.
However, I have virtually no experience with guns. So safety, ease of use are a must for the first one. Quite honestly, I doubt I’d amass any more than two, I would simply want to be proficient and comfortable with one firearm at this point anyway.
The first main decision would be revolver versus semi-automatic. Revolvers seem to be much more simplistic and fool proof. A lot of people seem to agree they would be more suited as a first gun for most people. On the other hand, I like the idea of having more rounds on tap with a semi-auto. A lot of folks seem to think they are better suited for home protection, but at the same time being such a novice, I don’t want to deal with a jam/misfire or whatever in a potentially life threatening situation.
Obviously, cost and safety are big factors as well. From what I’ve seen, most new or used handguns with a clip are cheaper than a revolver, unless I am just looking at the wrong places at this point. Either way, I really don’t want to spend a ton of money on a first gun as I have a lot of learning to do and would possibly reserve a larger purchase for when I am more skilled.
I was considering buying online the first time around but it seems a bit involved. From what I understand I have to arrange the sale from the internet with a licensed dealer, a pawn shop or even an actual firearm dealer. Then, fax some paperwork to the online dealer, having it shipped to the local arms dealer, complete the background check etc and pick it up. From what I understand the dealer you pick up from will charge a fee as well. Are dealers really willing to do this as you are not actually buying from them, or are they going to charge you a HUGE processing fee for doing this, which could possible negate any savings you found online.
Lastly, are most shooting ranges OK with first timers. Are they typically willing to take some time with first timers or are they immediately going to direct them to take a class. Most classes for new owners seem fairly steep in price, but I would really like to find one without breaking the bank, though…..thanks.
I’ve seen affordable revolvers at Academy Sports and Outdoors. Some people like Rossi and some don’t but they are selling a .38 special +p for about 269 or so I think.
Yea i think this would be good for a first time gun buyer:
http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=422782&pdesc=Taurus_Model_25_Handgun&aID=510C1&merchID=4006
Personally i like revolvers better because they never jam.
Here is an article on the subject, well at least as far as ccw goes but it brings up many of the issues to concider:
http://www.gundigest.com/handgun-reviews-articles/ccw-revolver-or-autoloader?et_mid=525850&rid=232946998
I always say go rent one and see which you are more comfortable shooting/ like more and go with that. the 357 is always a great option as you can also shoot the 38 (cheaper, easier to shoot)
That said my first handgun was a springfield XD in 40. Great defensive caliber, ergonomics are fantastic, ambidextrous mag release, easy takedown, grip safety and a match grade barrel, and decently priced!
I’ve bought a few firearms online. Most online stores already have quite a lot of FFL dealers on their list so chances are you wouldn’t need to fax them their FFL. In the case the online store doesn’t have their FFL, simply ask a local FFL to fax the store their FFL, my FFL dealer was more than happy to do it for free.
Once that’s done, make sure to get the FFL dealers ok for the transfer, and get the cost. The cost us usually between and , my local dealers transfer cost was . This cost covers the paperwork and the NCIS background check.
As for your last question, if shooting ranges weren’t ok for first timers, there would be no shooters. Just make sure to read the range rules and always follow the four rules of firearms safety. If you need help, most range officers are more than happy to help.
As for a handgun, I’ll recommend something from CZ. They have a wide selection of handguns and they’re fairly cheap.
i prefer semis. You will still have to decide on what kind since theyre like shoes. One size does not fit all. You should see which ones fit your hand the best and shoot them at a range.
dealers will charge anywhere from – to handle online orders
you should be fine at the range, if you are still unsure ask a friend to come with you
here are some manufacturers:
springfield xd
glock
sig sauer
cz
s&w
types of 1911s

If so please tell them I referred you so I can possibly become an E-3 out of boot camp. It is as simple as you giving them my name and them sending a fax to my recruiter. Email me for my full name and my recruiters fax. Please only do this if you intend to sign a contract by October 25th, when I leave for boot camp or it wont count. My email is ebonybtlr@yahoo.com

Why does my Wireless internet cut out every time i use the phone? – Fax Internet
Posted by in Fax Internet on August 3, 2011

By Julia: Why does my Wireless internet cut out every time i use the phone?
ok. So we’ve had wireless internet for a while and have had no problems with it in the past. We just got a fax machine and now every time we make/receive a call, the internet cuts out. I was wondering if there was anything that I could do, or if it was even linked to the new arrival of the fax machine. Any help would be appreciated!!

[edit] hm… very interesting…. how would i set it to a different channel?
Answer:
Answer by Giancarlo
wireless interference on Gigahertz 2.4. Change the frequency on your wireless router.
If it’s a land line, and no wireless phone, then you probably don’t have a DSL filter installed. you need that.
Answer by Seth Despero
Basically wireless networks and cordless phones operate on the same frequency band (2.4GHz), with the exception of some recent high-end models (5GHz and 2.8GHz respectively). This can lead to interference, especially if two devices are operating on the same channel.
If you can, set the wireless router and the phone to different channels – you should use either 1, 6, or 11 as they are the only non-overlapping channels in the 2.4GHz band.
Some cordless phones have something called ‘spread spectrum’ technology – basically they broadcast across multiple channels simultaneously. My experience with these phones is that they will absolutely murder a wireless network any time they are in use, and there’s little that can be done about it except to get rid of the phone.
Answer by Colanth
If it’s just from adding the fax, and you have DSL, the fax machine may not have a filter on it (check to see if you plugged the fax in directly, or you plugged the cord into a filter, and then into the phone line.)
Adding a fax machine wouldn’t change anything in the 2.4GHz radio range, which is where the wireless part works (and where the channels are). You change channels in your wireless router – connect to it and look for the page with the channel listed. It should be a drop-down.
