He’s not trying very hard, is he? Or maybe he’s not very bright.

The fact that he sees absolutely nothing wrong with this bill is scary. Rather, I think he does know its flaws but he made promises that must be kept. What is more illuminating is that he thinks no one else (like us) can see that. That we are in the dark in this matter. He used ignorance during his campaign and it worked well for him. But he doesn’t realize that one very good thing came from this election. More and more got involved in learning about politics and how this country is being run. That ignorance can’t be counted on any longer.

This e-mail is most definitely a scam! We received a very similar one from a banker in London and two more from people supposedly from South Africa saying we would receive large sums of money for sending our information. I’ve also received the exact e-mail from UK Lottery and checked with the authorities on all of these. They confirm that they are all scams. DO NOT forward any of your personal iformation to these people.

Not really enough of the email to be sure. However, Nationwide Bank is a real organization. In reality unless you have an account with them or have been recently doing business with them for something the email is probably a phishing attempt. My sister got an email like this once. She was to give this person her banking information etc. so they could “direct deposit” the money. However, she wrote them back and let them have it about it being illegal and all and that she was going to turn them in etc. Needless to say she never got another email from them again. And the person who had died and left all of this money behind had the same last name as her but there was no relation what so ever.

It’s a scam, I would just ignore them.

There is no Microsoft or Yahoo lottery, these are scams to rip off your bank account. Just mark them spam and forget about it. Yahoo is aware of these scams, they have been around for a very long time. They just can’t all be caught. Well, Prav, did you enter that lottery, you know buy a ticket????? No??? You can not win something you did not enter or play. Besides Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Microsoft, MSN and Aol do not have lotteries, reward programs, promotions, or contests.
When an E-mail offer sounds too good to be true, then it is definitely not true.
It is a scam to get your personal information and/or your money, or both!
Do not respond to it.
Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender’s ISP.

Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you’re reporting on.
