It’s scam. They compose a text and send it to people under different titles.Yahoo, gmail,…
I received this same email about a month ago. I didn’t follow up on any of it because this kind of crap filters through regardless of spam blockers.
Yahoo has been made aware and this is a totally bogus email.
Trash it as you would any other junk that comes through your mailbox.
I have also been receiving many emails from Nigeria. Do people truly fall for this crap? Do people really send complete strangers their personal information and send them thousands of dollars because they feel sorry for them?
This is the longest running scam on the internet today. Yahoo does not have lotteries. Yahoo does not give away money. You don’t win anything but the booby prize for opening spam, so now you will get more. Does this actually have your name on it, or is your name “Esteemed Winner?” Put this, and all the others to come, in spam and don’t open any more.

FAQ: dose yahoo allow faxing ?
Posted by in Fax Internet on November 20, 2011

Fax Service: dose yahoo allow faxing ?
Faxing over internet?
Answer by Matt Gerchow
You can send via Yahoo! mail but first you would have to get affiliated with an online fax service like efax, metro fax or ring central.
Then you could type in the fax number and the fax company direct from your yahoo mail account.
It would be something like this…
1. Open up Yahoo! mail.
2. Type the fax number and company ex. 2056784445@efax.com
3. Click send and the fax is on its’ way.
Pretty simple.
Hope that helps.
Answer by Lo Shana
If you want to send and receive your faxes via your yahoo mail box, create an account with www.Axiatel.com, I have this service for free (for 30 days) it’s pretty cool

Answer by string1dm
easiset option… if you cant figure out winzip…
Save pages separately and send separately…
Answer by SAINT G
to send big files in an email, all you need to do is go to
http://yousendit.com/
and upload it, the site will email the recipient with a download link. or send it to yourself, and when the upload is complete just just put the link in your personal email to the other person. they are valid links for one week or 100 downloads. and can be as big as 1GB
Answer by writersblock2006
Not necessarily on the weird printed stuff.
Depends on what type of fax machine you have…older probably could.
But then its based on yours and the recieving machines resolution, and cleansliness as well.
Not much you can say about the Yahoo limit thing, because well, thats their limit. It would have helped if you told us how large the file you want to send is.
Is it a picture for a job type, where you need it color and clear?
Well, not much I can help with limited information.
So, Id say if you dont have a good fax, or a color fax, go to a kinkos or other fax services.
If its that important as youve explained, shelling out a buck or 2 should do the trick

This is a SCAM. Yahoo does not and never have operated any lottery. If you click on the below link this site confirms various email scams hitting the internet and provides an online form for the reporting of such, with links for your own country.
http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/lotteryscam_Yahoo2.php
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yoo2.phpahoo/…
Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace.

The email you have recieved is not genuine and is not from Yahoo!
This is a scam, they are trying to obtain your personal details and an ‘advance fee’ that you will never recover.
The Yahoo! Security Centre has an excellent article on these ‘Phishing Scams’. You can read this here:
http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/hughes/4338;_ylt=AlSvqXGPeGQwp4ijCBNx5l1IN60h
It is also a good idea to read through the FBI’s information on Internet Scams. The site is regularly update, so you may wish to bookmark it to check on in the future:

For more information on Phishing and Advance Fee Frauds, see:

Please forward the email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com and then mark as ‘spam’.
