This is the second time I am being asked to review this product. Nothing changed. Holding up well in the dishwasher. Excellent bang for the buck. Beats spending $200 on a new rack. I would buy this again.

It seems crazy to me that dishwasher makers charge so much for replacement racks, because they ALL rust over time. Add to that the fact that they stop making the racks after a few years, and you have very little choice other than to replace the dishwasher when rust forms inside, as it undoubtedly will! I purchased this repair kit, and later one more bottle, in order to do some touch-up repairs on my racks. I used a dremel tool to remove what I could, then used up two bottles plus the caps to make it look usable again! I had to buy one more bottle to complete the job. All in all, I am pleased with the results considering what my only other option would have been. It is a bit time consuming, but – it works! Would recommend this to others who need to extend the life of their dishwasher! And, the seller is great – fast shipping!

My early 80′s KitchenAid dishwasher may not be too energy efficient anymore but it still does a good job so I decided to keep it running and try this product out. It’s been over two years now since I “refurbished” the tips on the rack and everything is holding up. It’s really easy to install, just make sure you don’t breathe too much of the solvent.

The product works great and saved us from having to purchase a new dishwasher in the near future. I have had the covers on the dishwasher prongs for over a month and they look the same as when I put them on. When using the ‘glue’ prior to putting on the cover, you have to move quickly as it seems to change from a liquid to a putty type substance fairly quickly- sort of like White-Out does. I recommend this product highly.
