It is the worst refrigerator I ever had. I would never buy side by side refrigerator in that size. Also all shelves are unstable. It is difficult to insert big pans between two shelves. The only reason why we bought this refrigerator is my wifes caprice: I want this. Thanks G-d we still have the old one with top freezer. It works perfectly.
But we are talking about filter for this refrigerator. Filter is good.

Great savings vs Sears, install was easy. I needed to run a quart or so of water afterward, to get the air, etc. out: not mentioned in instructions.

Easier to install than the old fashion one, that is for sure. But $35 for every 6 months? That is 20 cents a day!!!!! $70 a years, or $700 for the life of a 10 year refrigerator. How much did you pay for the refrigerator? You see where I am going……..

This is an excellent product, but I can’t rate it any higher than 1 because despite being offered 4 filters (I ordered two 2 packs), I only received 2. This has happened to several people, with etronics claiming that this was a typographical error on Amazon’s part. Meanwhile – neither the item count nor the price has been adjusted.
Avoid etronics if you plan to order this product.

2nd time I’ve had problem with Amazon order. Thought I was ordering a 2-pack. Only one came. Vendor said the price was only for one filter and it was Amazon’s fault.
